I really wanted to like this place, however I cannot give it a 5 star because a couple of things that happened during our stay. The staff was fantastic and friendly from the people that greet you to the people that clean your room. I see alot of negative comments about the village tour. In my opinion it was a fantastic experience and a glimpse into the lives of people that live on these beautiful islands. The food was fantastic especially their Japanese restaraunt is quite an experience to try. However, our toilet flooded when we were out of the room. Being a plumber where I come from i understand these things happen. And the maintenance staff had come by right away. No complaints about them at all. The biggest issue is that while here we had a rather violating incident as we have an outdoor bathroom and one of the people staying with us a woman, spotted a drone hovering above our bathroom while she was naked having a shower. Thank god we do not have any kids with us. However we reported this to management who initially informed us they were "looking" for the culprit as this had just happened a month prior to us coming . As I understand this could be a quite complex investigation as we were leaving this particular day. We never heard back from any management or progress on said investigation prior to leaving and it being past a day now still have yet to hear back. Given the gravity of this situation I would figure they would be quicker to respond. This was a let down. Hopefully after this they make the rules more strict on flying drones around the resort especially with outdoor showers and families. If this had not happened and the way it was handled I would have given it a higher review.

The place is beautiful, but the staff is very intrusive when providing service. If you're not hungry, they insist you to eat. They charged me 500 USD for two days' worth of meals, even though I didn't eat all the meals. The prices are very excessive. The staff makes you feel very uncomfortable, and you end up wanting to just leave the place. All the beauty was overshadowed by that.
