See MoreI have been to Fiji some 15 times as I live in NZ. BLBR is my favourite spot. The reef is amazing with all tide snorkelling off the beach as the reef is at 45 degrees to the beach nor parallel like most. The rooms are great the new yurts might seem like an odd idea but really deliver. I also love the garden villas. The food is amazing the new Donu Japanese restaurant is extra ordinary. The dive shop is great and so convenient with about 20 dive spots in a 15 minute boat trip. The staff are amazing. I'll be back. Finally whilst I wasn't travelling with kids the new kids club opened whne I was there and I did a tour it was superb the kids where loving it.

See MoreWe stayed at Blue Lagoon during the end of May beginning of June 2025. After much shopping around with other resorts we decided on Blue Lagoon because of the protected beach, overall upkeep, snorkeling and food. We made the right decision. Everything at Blue Lagoon is amazing and the people there are even more so! I couldn't have been happier with our choice and would love to return someday. Tips: take advantage of their private fast boat for arrival/departure (much better than the ferry), if the snorkeling right in front of the resort has low visibility when you go give it another try when it is calmer; the reef out front is amazing! Bring a care package for the children when you do the village visit. The food was awesome and the personal attention you are given just makes you feel welcome and happy. We loved our villa, the AC was great and it was tasteful and clean.
