This place is magical. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and at home! The ladies in the spa are excellent. I got massages 3x. The manager is extremely helpful and easy to talk to. The food is impeccable and the water is to die for. The reef, directly in front of the resort, is so colorful and beautiful. There is a lovely hike to check out the views. One suggestion I would offer is to add more lounge chairs by the ocean as they were always taken, but besides that it’s a true paradise. I will be back!

Bula dream team! We've already provided generous feedback directly. The fact we are returning in November and inviting everyone we know to join us is testament of how much we love it! The staff were what stood out for us. The only feedback we have neglected to give till now is excessive food quantity. This is consistent with what we heard from other guests at the time, and read on many online reviews. We are all increasingly aware of the environmental and human cost and effort of growing every ingredient put on the tablet, the importance of avoiding waste and valuing food as a taonga. From another more self-centered angle, we also started feeling less well after a couple of days from over eating. Eventually we had to overcome the urge to eat just because we paid for it, and started skipping meals or courses to avoid waste of unfinished plates. Although it did also feel like a waste of money to do that. There is also the important cultural element of the joy of giving food to guests and the honour of receiving it. Turning meals or courses away didn't feel right to me as an indigenous person. While we appreciate a half board option (breakfast and dinner only) would complicate the running logistics of the restaurants, its positive impacts would be worth it. To us, Blue Lagoon would be the ultimate perfect stay if you could just have breakfast included like other resorts, and pay for meals as per order as it's currently with drinks.
