Fantastic location. Excellent snorkeling. We came with our 18 month old son. He had a wonderful time with the staff absolutely doting on him. We had our own Nanny for the week who took excellent care of him for a couple of hours per day, while mum and dad had some wonderful massages and went diving and snorkelling. It was extremely reasonably priced. The fringing reef was in quite good condition considering there are tourists who kick them and touch them with fins etc. I am a marine ecologist and I was afraid they would be very damaged but I was delighted to find there are huge stretches of very beautiful and intact coral. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the food was outstanding. If you need airconditioning be sure to book a beachfront bure as the garden bure's are only fan-cooled. However we were one-night in the garden and it was not too hot. Activities include manta ray snorkeling which we did and saw a Manta and some sharks. Highly recommend - loved our time at Octopus.
