We had an incredible time at Octopus resort. Reflecting on the holiday, we think it's probably the best we have ever been on. The resort is the perfect mix of tranquility but with plenty to do. Beautiful accommodation and delicious food with plenty of choice. Possibly the best part is the staff, so friendly and fun. We completed our PADI scuba course which was great. You can also do intro to scuba dive or just snorkeling on the beach you get to see lots of colourful fish. There are optional trips such as snorkeling to see manta rays, mountain hike(not for the faint-hearted) and village visit. There are also activities at the resort like jewellery making, coconut demo, basket weaving etc. And fun evening activities like quiz night, volleyball, etc. Will be recommending to everyone we know. Faultless. We stayed in a premium garden bure (2 adults 1 infant). Staff were incredibly accommodating on all fronts. We used mei mei services occasionally for our 15 m/o while we dined or participated in activites, they're super accommodating with kids and do an early dinner service if required. They accommodated a vegetarian diet and on one of the nights when my partner was sick they brought our 3 course dinner to our room which was much appreciated. The only reason I rate the room as 4 stars is because there are some pretty makeshift repairs / build which might bother some, not us. The rooms are simple but well appointed and you won't spend much time in them. We found the open air bathroom really cool and enjoyed watching the wildlife like lizards and hermit crabs. The snorkelling right off the beach is incredible. Most places you would have to take a long and uncomfortable boat ride to get snorkelling that good! The resort itself is great, the staff were fantastic, the vibe was good, the food was well beyond what I expected! We hope to stay here again in the near future!
