Having visited Fiji a few times before, I had only ever stayed on the mainland making this my very first true "island stay." And I honestly couldn't recommend it more! It strikes the absolute perfect balance between pure relaxation and fun activities. While we don't have kids yet, the resort was clearly a hit with families; parents looked incredibly relaxed, likely thanks to the nanny services on offer. The food was exceptional across the board. The main restaurant and the secondary Japanese spot, Donu, both serve amazing, varied meals. Menus change every few days including a fantastic traditional Fijian buffet on Friday and the 10 course Japanese tasting menu was so good we had to do it again on our last night. Beyond the food, the house reef right in front of the resort offers endless snorkeling, and the guided tours to see reef sharks and manta rays are a must. Do yourself a favor and book it. You won't regret it!
