Visited for my wife’s birthday, unfortunately I had a medical emergency my 2nd day in and needed to be evacuated by helicopter. All staff were fantastic, caring and concerned about my welfare. They looked after my wife while I was in hospital for three days and organised my transport back to the island when I was well. Can’t speak highly enough about the resort and the staff. Food is some of the best I have had anywhere.

If you get a chance to get away from the mainland, Octopus is the place to go! The beach is so beautiful, the water is so clear the value for money is unbelievable and everything was perfect. Some tips for your stay, don't wear enclosed shoes or long pants for arrival (You may have to walk through a small amount of beach and water, pending tide and boat arrival) The food package was so good, so much variety and loved everything about it! Another handy tip - bring pegs, it can get windy with the changing of the tide, but there is a clothesline at the front of your room to hang swimmers and towels to dry!
