Octopus Resort exceeded my expectations and the warmth and hospitality of the beautiful locals has left a mark on my heart. I absolutely cannot wait to come back. The staff are extremely helpful in helping you access the island via a Bus Shuttle and transfer (in my case, from Vuda Marina Port) - it took all the stress out of finding the place. Upon arrival, you are greeted by very friendly staff who take your luggage and assist you onto a smaller boat, and you're welcomed by a gorgeous group of locals who sing you a welcome song. The food is varied, delicious, modern and plentiful, and there are plenty of amazing activities. In particular, I loved the Waya Boat Snorkel, the jewellery making, the massage with the coconut oil and the movie night under the stars! If you'd prefer, the serenity of the pristine blue ocean is enough to captivate - my pictures don't do the beauty justice. We stayed in the Grand Bure and adored the traditional accommodation that was still equipped with air con and a stunning outdoor, private shower area amongst nature. A huge shout out to Meli, who made the guests feel so welcome, and to all of the staff who take the time to get to know you by name. David, David, Bale and Nox were so wonderful to have taken us out to feed the local fish and to have a snorkel. Thank you to Sivu for making us laugh and to Joe and Archie for the fantastic drinks - the banana/mixed berry smoothies were my favourite. Everything is created and perfected by the locals and I couldn't recommend this place enough.
