Overall value: 4.5/5 We stayed in the best seafront room, and it was perfect. The room was spacious with a beautiful and large outdoor bathroom and a big patio on the side facing the ocean, perfect for my morning yoga sessions ‍♀️ The full mini fridge was a nice touch, and the beach right in front of us was perfect for exploration. The food was good, with plenty of healthy, local options to choose from. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always eager to help. I loved my bracelet session. Family, couples and young adults blend well, there’s something for everyone. The only small suggestion would be to offer specialized coffee options or smoothies at breakfast, which would elevate the experience even more. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great during our stay, but I could see the incredible potential of this resort. The island looked absolutely beautiful from the boat, and I would love to return for a longer stay to explore more of it.

We had a wonderful experience at the Octopus resort on Waya Island and we can’t recommend it enough. The vibe is relaxed, everyone was super lovely to our baby, food was amazing, everything is clean and pristinely tidy, there are plenty of daily activities to keep you entertained, the sand at the beach is super soft and the reef is fantastic. You can rent snorkels and fins for free, and there even are evening snorkelling sessions. There is live music in the evenings wish some amazing performers. You have the opportunity to visit the local village and see where most of the staff live and have a taste of their lifestyle and culture. The resort is definitely perfect for those that like to learn about Fijian culture and traditions. One of the managers, Shereen, was absolutely wonderful to our little one and even after a few weeks he is still asking for her and smiles when seeing their pictures together. There is a spa on site, a play room, a play ground, an activity room for the younger ones, an infirmary, a volleyball pitch, free water gear to borrow, a pool, fresh water showers everywhere, and more. The only downside is that we had to leave and come back to reality! Thank you all for making our stay so wonderful!
