By far this was the best place I have ever stayed at. Perhaps , the remoteness of the island made this experience so unique. We flew from Nadi by seaplane to Paradise Cove. This is a must way to travel from Nadi to the resort. There is a ferry option as well. The seaplane landed just a few meters from shore. As soon as our feet touched the warm sand the locals awaited us singing a welcome song with warm smiles. Everything was looked after from the moment we arrived. The management greeted us personally and along with all the staff we were treated like royalty from day 1. The food was sensational. We had filet mignon one night, rack of lamb another and Reef fish another. The meals were gourmet and the presentation was fabulous. The wait staff were extremely warm, genuine and caring people. Breakfast and lunches were delightful. We had our own villa which we loved. It was impeccable, spacious with beautiful design and decor. Our fridge was full of welcome drinks including Fiji water, wine, beer, soft drinks and a variety of snacks. All complementary. We had a nice outdoor veranda with cushioned seating area. The best part for me of the villa was the outdoor bathroom. Never have I stayed at a place with a beautiful outside private bathroom with double shower with tropical plants all around. It was truly exotic. The entire island was an tropical Oasis. The premises was manicured and in pristine condition. The beach was very nice with amazing snorkeling just meters from shore. We took an additional al guided snorkeling trip offered by the resort which we also really enjoyed. We used the onsite gym which had what we needed to keep our routine and we enjoyed running the mountain trail with fitness stations. The view from the lookout point is worth seeing. There were three pools at the resort with two in a adult only section which our villa was located. We also had massages at the spa which was also Fantastic. It felt like we had the entire area to ourselves. The resort was not crowded and probably only about 50-60 guests in total. To top things off, on our trip back to Nadi airport we were upgraded to a helicopter flight back due to timing issues with our flight. Many of the staff and management personally said goodbye to us and sand a farewell song. The management and staff are the best I have ever had anywhere I have stayed. Other resorts should model their service. It was truly exceptional. It was truly spectacular and and memorable stay. I would love to return one day. You must come and experience Paradise Cove. It is a Paradise Oasis.
