The first time we have been to paradise cove was few years ago and it was an amazing experience, everyone was warm and enthusiastic and full of life. including the dive shop people. At that time all of the group resorts had general managers and ran a great ship. Fast forward to our recent trip to paradise cove , the positives were, the food is still great, snorkelling at the front of the resort is still amazing. However we find service just average. we found that staff are friendly just to get by, the enthusiasm is somewhat lost. This is especially pronounced with the dive shop. Staff at the dive shop are so lethargic, it’s so hard to get information out of them, they just didn’t care. Dive instructor looks and behaves bored most of the time. We wanted to go do some special dives sites but they only take us to places 10mins out for our dives. I mean I get that they’re paid the same so it’s easier for them if they choose easier options but when you’re here for a while, you want the experience to be special not bleh. They probably need a GM back to boost everyone’s morale.
