Our family spent three nights at Paradise Cove in November, following stays in Nadi and another Yasawa resort. While the accommodation, food, and beachside snorkeling surpassed our previous resort experiences, we found the overall ambiance at Paradise Cove somewhat underwhelming. Unlike our prior stay where the staff knew us by name and treated us like family, here, even after three days, we felt somewhat like intruders. Although I wouldn't categorize the staff as rude, many appeared overworked and jaded. Meal times became a gamble, with frazzled staff occasionally forgetting or making mistakes with our orders. The limited dining options, restricted to multi-course meals at Black Rock and Donu during dinner, prolonged our dining experiences to over 90 minutes each night. One notable concern was a boat anchor made of several long metal rods left on the beach near the dive shop. Its presence posed a serious tripping and safety hazard, especially in the dark. Despite reporting it to the office on the first night and being assured they would take care of it, no action was taken, raising concerns about potential accidents. In summary, we appreciated our clean and comfortable garden villa, the fantastic beachside snorkeling, and the high-quality food. However, several aspects of our stay left room for improvement, particularly considering the price tag associated with Paradise Cove.

We stayed here (2 x Adults, 1 x child) for 6 nights over March/April and it was amazing. We have been to a number of the Fijian islands over the years (Tokoriki, Matamanoa and Denerau) and Paradise Cove Resort was exactly what we were hoping for/dreaming of. The people were amazing, the location stunning, the rooms perfect, food was the best we have had in Fiji, just the right amount of activities to ensure you could do something if you wanted (or not). Only points we found were not quite at the level we expected were: 1) When arriving via Helicopter it felt like we were arriving via the service entrance, so greeted with unkept and visually less stunning amenities. 2) The decking around the secondary pool area was well past needing repair/replacement with loose nails/boards. That said - they are things that can (hopefully already have been) rectified, and we would come back in a heartbeat as its a truly magical spot!
