    We stayed 5 nights in Beach Villa 43 at Paradise Cove Fiji, expecting a luxurious 5-star experience, but instead endured a nightmare. The villa was infested with bed bugs—biting all over our bodies—which is absolutely unacceptable for any resort, let alone a supposedly luxury one. Alongside the bed bugs, there were also cockroaches and mosquitoes, pests we could tolerate to some extent, but bed bugs are completely inexcusable. The resort felt seriously mismanaged from start to finish. Communication was awful, and most things we had to figure out ourselves. We were shockingly charged for a compulsory meal plan for days when we were not even there to enjoy the full expierence, something I was not informed about in advance & arrival even! Service was patchy at best. Some staff members were polite, but overall the service was hit and miss. The only bright spot was the concierge, Linda, who did her best to “put out the fires,” but even her efforts couldn’t save the experience. I would not recommend ordering them. This place is far from the 5-star luxury they advertise; it is a poorly run resort with major pest issues and customer service failures. Avoid Paradise Cove Fiji at all costs unless you want to risk bed bug bites and an incredibly disappointing stay.

    Had an awful experience here. They overcharged me almost $1000 extra for my room and said they would reimburse me but after following up with them for months and months post stay they stopped replying to my emails and never gave me my money back. Total crooks! And illegal! If the management reads this please respond/get in touch so you can finally send me my money.

    When we checked in and I tried to go to bed, I realized that the sheets were very dirty. It looked like they forgot to change them. Another night, I mentioned that I can’t eat gourmet foods (Fiji kitchen and any different kitchens) and I needed something simple. They said the chef was very busy and the kitchen couldn’t make me simple food. I was hungry and had to eat that food, and my stomach started to hurt, so I left dinner even without finishing it. When I lay down, I realized that the bed smelled like pee. I didn’t feel good about moving out again and complain again, so I stayed. Maybe management should try to sleep on a bed that smells like pee in an expensive hotel. I complained, and it seems like nobody cared. Nobody asked me what I needed or how they could help when I was smelling like pee and had a sick stomach. Probably because it’s a big hotel, they don’t care about you.
