This resort has the potential to be one of the best in Fiji, thanks to its good infrastructure and beautiful beaches. However, I encountered several significant issues during my stay: - They should be upfront about all fees to avoid any hidden charges. - Ordering food can be a nightmare if you've got any dietary restrictions, as mistakes are pretty common. -Good luck finding their real number; it's like a puzzle and a code to break and if so, communication with the team was tough and inconsistent, especially regarding fees, leading to contradicting information. - There were frequent overcharging errors for services that weren't provided, which could be easily avoided if signatures were required for all services. Make sure to review your bill before checking out. - During the high season, the resort is overrun with kids, making it noisy and a bit like a high school playground. - Visiting during Christmas can be problematic due to the hurricane season, with a high chance of spending most of your holiday break stuck in your room. In short, carefully reconsider visiting during the high season or hurricane season, and make sure you’re clear about your package and billing details with the resort."

Here’s a much harsher version while keeping it focused on your experience: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Skip Paradise Cove and book Barefoot Kuata or Barefoot Manta instead. My friend and I spent weeks planning our Fiji trip, and Paradise Cove was easily the worst resort we stayed at. The photos online are incredibly misleading. We walked into a room that smelled like mold, and the bathroom was dirty enough that we immediately wanted to leave. We ended up paying even more money just to upgrade because the room we booked was unacceptable. The service was disappointing as well. Compared to every other resort we visited, the staff here seemed cold, unenthusiastic, and like they didn’t want to be there. The atmosphere felt lifeless, and there was nothing special about the experience despite the premium prices. The food was mediocre at best, yet everything was overpriced. For what this resort charges, you should expect exceptional accommodations, service, and dining. Instead, it felt like we were paying luxury prices for a very average experience. If you’re traveling through the Yasawas, do yourself a favor and stay at Barefoot Kuata or Barefoot Manta instead. Both offer a much better island atmosphere, friendlier staff, and a far more authentic Fiji experience. We made incredible memories there, while Paradise Cove was just a regret that cost us even more money because we had to upgrade our room. This was the only resort during our trip that we couldn’t wait to leave. We would never stay here again.

After two months of chasing a refund for an incorrect charge, I’m still waiting for my money back (AUD 900). At the time, I was told, “Don’t worry, it will be back on your card within two weeks.” Once I left the resort, they completely stopped responding to my messages. The way this has been handled is an absolute disgrace. The place itself is paradise, but the customer service has been terrible. Also, be very careful with the meal plan. In my experience, it’s a complete rip-off. It was much cheaper to order every meal separately than to pay for the package. A beautiful resort, but a shocking lack of customer service. Be warned.
