Intimate resort that is fantastic for families! We came here with the whole family (8 adults and 6 children), and everyone had a great time. Kids Club was next level and the staff were incredibly friendly and caring. They took the kids out on kayaks, boats, and beach picnics. For the adults there is fantastic snorkeling right off the beach, scuba diving charters, fishing tours, and a good 4km hike. Would highly recommend staying here!

I hope the owner and anyone considering staying here reads this. I had an amazing 10 days, but there’s something negative worth addressing. First the good - the staff was lovely, the accommodations extremely clean and well equipped, and the food exceeded expectations. The gym was very suitable for a vacation gym. The island was gorgeous, full of greenery and beautiful beaches, but this is where the negative comes in. The owner is doing a massive expansion of the resort including 170 villas and 2 more restaurants. I think this is an absolute travesty and will lower the value and overall experience to guests. When I arrived the very first thing I mentioned to my friends was how little footprint the resort had compared to the size of the island, and how nice that was to see. A relatively small resort space and the rest of the island is green and natural. But throughout my stay I found them chainsawing large, old trees to make room for more accommodations and doing construction. This was incredibly disappointing and sad to see. The expansion was brought up to me by another guest, and every subsequent guest I spoke about it with all said the same thing. No one wants this, it will ruin the experience. We travel thousands of miles to come out here to the middle of nowhere for the beauty of nature, and peace and quiet. We’re not looking for buildings, lights, more people, and more restaurant options. If we wanted that we’d stay in a city. In my final night I went out to the beach and saw the most amazing night sky I’ve ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous, stars everywhere. But when you go just 100 feet back into the resort you can’t see this because of the lights. They were fairly minimal and low but it doesn’t take a lot to make an impact. I’d imagine 170 more villas would ruin the chance to see this incredible sight, as well as the natural beauty of island. I hope the owner reconsiders his expansion and if not, potential guests reconsider booking to a more eco-friendly island. Keep Fiji natural, clean, and beautiful.
