I came in to pick up a sample of flooring I had already ordered so I could choose paint. While looking for the sample, I discovered the store had ordered the wrong flooring. I was able to prove this by showing the manager the text message I had sent to the sales associate (who, to be clear, has always been very nice and helpful).
The manager initially argued with me, claiming the photo didn’t clearly show the color—until he looked at it more closely and realized it did. Sandwich in hand, he reminded me they were closing in five minutes. I wasn’t there to linger; I simply wanted the correct flooring reordered since their mistake had delayed my project.
Because of the time, money, and inconvenience this error caused, I asked if there was any kind of compensation. He gave me a “how dare you” look and said, “Only if you take what was ordered.” That made no sense, and when I mentioned a discount again while leaving, he rudely snapped, “Why don’t you let it come in first?!”
There was no apology, no effort to make things right, and no customer service. I have three more rooms to do and will not be returning. You deserve better—do yourself a favor and don’t come here.
