Our solar panels were installed early in 2024 and Big Dog Solar did a great job of managing the project. They arranged for our new roof to be installed beforehand and got us a terrific price on it to boot. The installation was rapid and we started seeing the benefits right away. As with many others, we sighed deeply when we received the news of Idaho Power's reduction in compensation for self-generated power. But we also recognize that we had been told up front that future changes in the rate structure are always a possibility so we were aware of it going in. Disappointing? Absolutely. But that's on Idaho Power and the PUC. --S&W Sears
