Two guys with no vehicle wandered up to our door asking for our power account information and wanted to know our work schedules. Claimed they are working with Pacific Power. Called our power company and they immediately said not to give this company any information, they do not work with third parties, we filed a complaint with the our power company regarding Big Dog Solar. Do NOT trust these people, this is a scetchy company with scetchy employees. We'll be watching our security cameras closely to make sure our equipment is not tampered with.

We hired big dog to do our solar panels and there was problem after problem from the get go. The biggest problem is when one of the crews came to our home, they broke our garage door. We called the next morning to inform whoever we needed to about the door but because the crew didn't even leave our home till almost 10 at night we had to wait till morning to get ahold of anyone. Now they refuse to own up to breaking our door and refuse to pay to have it fixed when it was working in perfect condition for the crew that came before the crew that broke it. All they said is we trust our technicians and they wouldn't lie about something like that. Won't even offer to pay the bill to get it fixed when they are the ones who broke it. We will never EVER recommend this company to anyone after this nightmare. Terrible way to run a company.

These people won't stop coming to my house. I have a sign on my door saying no solicitors but they all knock and hang out any way. I ask are you selling something? And they just launch into their presentation and its so disrespectful. I would never buy from this company.

Ryder is awesome! So far big dog solar has been on point! The staff is awesome! I will keep you posted as we finish the process! I highly recommend big dog solar!

Pushy door to door sales. Ignored both "no soliciting, do not knock or ring bell signs." Stated I was not interested and to get lost. Would not let it go, continued to push. Told him to leave and shut the door. He continued outside shouting thanks for texting me like a human. Had to literally chase him off of my property. How do you expect people to want to do business with you if you can't even respect basic boundaries at their home?

Once thought these folks were great. But things have really changed. I have had to HAVE MANY panels replaced over the 3 years I have had this system, with little trouble. NOW however they want to charge you $275. to look at a panel that is not performing and if it is a bad panel (manufacturer issue) they still charge you to replace the bad panel that they sold you, that is under warranty. Use to replace at no charge. WATCH OUT.

Xander knocked our door and I want to compliment him on his style. I've had questions about solar other sales reps haven't been helpful and he answered them respectfully and it was a good education. Not interested in solar at this time but wanted to give him a shout out.

I’ve had my solar system for 13 years, and it’s been great all this time. Recently, I needed a panel replaced, and the company handled it quickly and professionally. The technician was knowledgeable and made sure the system was running perfectly before leaving. It’s reassuring to know that even after more than a decade, their support is still excellent. Very happy with my long term investment.
