Jasmin and Olivia at Bishopsgate Law were absolutely outstanding throughout the process of helping me secure my new home. From start to finish, they were professional, kind, patient, and incredibly supportive.
As a disabled person, parts of the process could have felt overwhelming, but Jasmin showed genuine understanding of my abilities and limitations, and made everything feel far more manageable. She explained things clearly, never made me feel rushed or difficult, and always treated me with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Olivia was also fantastic, offering helpful support and making sure things kept moving smoothly. Together, they went above and beyond what I expected. They were not only courteous and efficient, but genuinely caring, practical, and reassuring at every stage.
Buying a house can be stressful, but Jasmin and Olivia made me feel supported and looked after throughout. I am extremely grateful for everything they did and would wholeheartedly recommend Bishopsgate Law to anyone looking for a solicitor who is not only excellent at their job, but also truly considerate and human in the way they work.

Terrible firm. Unorganised, poor communication, one of the worst in the UK. They are on most agencies 'bad solicitor list'

Fantastic with no hassle, and Donna Williams was very professional and kept us informed through the whole process, We will definitely use again and recommend everyone to use them!

We worked with Bishopsgate for our conveyancing and could not recommend Amanda Turco highly enough. She was was extremely proactive and communicative and made a very stressful process as stress free as possible. We felt completely reassured that everything was in hand. Thank you, Amanda!

I had an excellent experience working with Bishopsgate Law Ltd throughout my property transaction.
From the very beginning, everything was clearly structured and transparent. I was provided with a detailed step-by-step overview of the process, including clear points of contact, which made the entire experience feel organised and under control.
Communication was outstanding — I consistently received responses on the same day, which is quite rare in this industry. There was no unnecessary stress at any stage, and I always felt supported and well-informed.
Their pricing was also one of the most competitive I found on the market, without compromising on quality of service.
Overall, this has been my best experience with a law firm to date, and I would highly recommend Bishopsgate Law to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient conveyancing service.

Awful experience, not sure where they got good reviews from!
- Any communication was instigated by us or the sellers estate agent (who they were rude to).
- When I didn’t understand the money side of things the email I kept getting was “read this”, no matter how many times I said this didn’t make sense to me it wasn’t explained.
- 3 times my partners name was incorrect, due to it being uncommon to have 2 first names we made this extremely clear in the beginning.
- Another time the house price was incorrect on paperwork.
- We were sent the sellers death certificate, which I think is completely inappropriate for a stranger to know his cause of death.
- Stamp duty was paid 1.5months after the move in date. This was only paid as HMRC had sent me a letter stating a fine had been occurred for not paying it. I was also not told that this had finally been paid, I had to chase it.
Awful experience, will never use them again.
Edit- James Johnson was prompt and professional with dealing with this complaint

We were not direct clients of Bishopsgate Law, but unfortunately had to deal with them during our purchase, and the experience was extremely poor.
Due to their inefficiency and lack of urgency, what should have been a straightforward process ended up taking 11 months from offer to moving in. There were ongoing issues with how they handled a deed of variation, followed by further delays that meant they were unable to get us exchanged within the expected timeframe.
Their slow and unprofessional handling of the transaction ultimately cost us over £1,000 in additional expenses.
If you are looking for a proactive, efficient, and professional service, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. If you’re prepared for delays, poor communication, and unnecessary costs, then this may be the firm for you.

My first time using Bishopsgate Law, through a recommendation, and sadly I’m not impressed with the service & not sure I’d use them again. The initial enquiries they were very prompt in responding, and then communication became few & far between, with claims my emails went into junk boxes etc. Then we sadly had to pull out of our house purchase, I was told I’d get a refund within 7-10 working days. After 25 days, many follow up emails and having to ask for a senior solicitor to sort this, it suddenly (finally!!) turns up the very next day! Poor service I’m afraid, complaints shouldn’t have to be made to receive a refund I was promised.
Reading other reviews, I think sadly I was just given a solicitor who sadly wasn’t as prompt as the others.

I was recommended Bishopsgate Law and I’m so glad I went with that recommendation. I would highly recommend their Northampton branch to anyone.
As a first-time buyer, the process can be quite stressful, but Olivia, Jasmin and Angela made it a really positive experience from start to finish. They were professional, responsive, and always kept things moving. Olivia in particular was proactive in chasing the vendor’s solicitors and keeping everything on track.
Even with a small hiccup on completion day from the vendor’s side, Olivia handled it quickly and efficiently, which made a big difference. Communication was always honest and transparent, so I always knew exactly where I stood throughout the process. Thank you so much x

Jodie & Sofina did a perfect job handling their work on our flat purchase. I would highly recommend them!
