We recently completed on our first home and used bishopsgate as our conveyancers. We had the pleasure of having Pia and Abi as our team and they were outstanding for every step of the way, responsive, providing clear updates, and ensuring that we had what we needed at each step. Our purchase wasn’t straight forward with a chain and issues arising through the survey, and it was expertly navigated by Pia and Abi and resolved in a timely manner for us to complete on the day agreed. There were a few occasions we needed guidance and they were happy to have a quick call to advise.
We couldn’t recommend Pia and Abi more, and we’ve been incredibly pleased with the service and support we received.

Very happy with my experience with Bishopsgate Law who helped me buy my first house. Two people are assigned to your file (Jyeshtha and Svetlana in my case) which worked brilliantly, if one was away the other picks up the file seamlessly. When I emailed them for any reason I would always get a swift response. They chased the sellers solicitors regularly without me asking them to do so and seemed very organised throughout. The quote I was provided with at the very beginning of the process was exactly what I paid at the end of the process. If throughout the process any extra work was going to be required, I was always notified of any extra charges that may occur. I had heard many horror stories of terrible conveyancing at other firms (and my seller’s solicitors were a perfect example of that) but I’m pleased to say Bishopsgate Law were excellent.

Overall, I had a very positive experience working with Amanda and Stenson throughout my purchase. They were professional, responsive, and supportive during what was a naturally stressful process. I am very pleased with the successful completion of the transaction.
I particularly appreciated their clear communication and efficiency. I felt that the onboarding process was incredibly easy and well-managed from day one. When matters became time-sensitive, especially as we approached the exchange, they handled things with impressive speed, which kept the transaction moving and gave me great peace of mind.
What truly stood out, however, was how they handled the external pressures. I was dealing with a particularly pushy and impatient seller and estate agent, and I felt that Amanda and Stenson were excellent at shielding me from that pressure while still progressing the case quickly. They stayed firm and efficient under fire, ensuring my interests were protected without letting the process stall.
If I were to suggest an area for improvement, it would only be a brief proactive update during the quieter periods—even a quick "no news" check-in—just to provide that extra layer of reassurance. That said, whenever I reached out, both were consistently helpful and fast to reply.
