From getting picked up from the airport then a trip to the Columbia Icefields then a trip to lake Louise with tour guides Geoff, Neil and Georgia 100% first class Georgia is the Canadian Steve Irwin spotting a Grizzly amongst other things. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making Banff so special. Neil and Dawn.

My friend and I went on the Lake Louise tour this past Thursday. We knew the tour would be great but I can honestly say it exceeded all of our expectations.
I moved to Alberta from Ontario two years ago and my friend also from Ontario was visiting me this past week. We were so excited to go on this tour and we had an absolute blast all thanks to our tour guide Rob.
Rob was very friendly, and personable. He showed genuine interest with getting to know everyone who was on the tour. He cared and went above and beyond to make everyone comfortable. He also took the time to stop to allow riders to take in the beautiful views and to take advantage of photo opportunities.
He offered to take some pictures of me and my friend which I really appreciated considering I haven't seen her in 10 years!!!
Rob was also very knowledgeable and passionate about Banffs history and facts on wildlife which I thought was a really nice added touch to the whole experience. I learned a lot and now have a better understanding of what beautiful Banff offers. Thank you Rob for that.
I will be going on another tour with Discover Banff Tours in June with a stop to the famous Morraine Lake. Fingers crossed Rob will be the guide again I highly recommend Discover Banff Tours to anyone visiting Banff. If you get Rob as your guide you won't be disappointed.

Tina was a great guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and easygoing. She shared cool stories along the drive, and we even spotted a brown bear. The stop at Lake Louise was perfect, and the maple cookies were a nice touch. Really appreciated her local tips too. Great experience overall.

In May 2025 we took the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Banff. We stayed 3 nights in Banff at the Banff Springs Hotel - an amazing place! Before our trip we booked a private tour with Discover Banff Tours for both May 4th and May 5th. Our guide on May 4th was Ross and she was exceptional. We saw many wonderful sites, hiked Johnston's Canyon and took the Gondola up Sulphur Mountain. Discover Banff tours had our gondola tickets and time ready for us - which was a great surprise. She made the day feel exciting, fun and relaxed. She gave us tips, told us history of the sites and even pointed out a wolf for us to see!!! It was my 50th birthday and she helped make the day special for all of us. Day two was with Ethan and he to was exceptional. He took us to Lake Louise and other amazing sites. Both guides exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Discover Banff Tours and would use them again.

I had never been on a tour before and we really enjoyed it. Our driver was very nice, punctual and was extremely informative on Banff’s wildlife. We had some laughs and great sightings. I highly recommend using this service if you go to Banff! Thank you so much for such a great time !

My wife and I took this 5 1/2 hour time and loved it. We are seasoned travelers and found this tour to be one of the best. Most long tours candrag by but this tour really flew by. Our tour guide, Heidi, did a magnificent job sharing stories and history of the area.
This tour also helped us to plan other anticipated events that we scheduled like the Lake Minnewanka cruise the very next day.
Worth the money.

Today we took the Columbia Icefields tour which includes the skywalk.
It was an amazing experience, made perfect by our tour guide, Eli. I strongly recommend him.
Eli was knowledgeable about the sights and provided an interesting commentary, pointing out details in the landscape that you might miss as we drove along the highway.
He also ensured we made our connections perfectly and was conscientious about our welfare.
But most importantly, it was an amazing experience to walk on the Athabasca glacier and the Skywalk.
To top it all we had a great opportunity to see a black bear at close range from the coach.
Just a perfect day!

We had a wonderful time on the Columbia Icefields tour conducted by Eli.
Eli provided great information about the history and geology, and he was attentive to all our needs. We even saw a black bear at close range!
It was the trip of a lifetime, and not to be missed..

Andy and Ella were great! The one on one connection with them ; their understanding of the local history and geology of the Banff Rocky Mountains made for a great learning experience and a nice adventure. Lake Louise was beautiful. The Discover representative at the Banff ticket office was extremely helpful. Her patience and ability to listen helped save us from poor planning on our part. I would highly recommend using this company for any Banff adventures!
