Absolutely outstanding visit to Hodge Podge Lodge last weekend (late November 2024). Scott the owner was able to get us in last minute and was very accomodating our entire visit. The grounds were spectacular, with lights up all over the place. Breakfast was outstanding. And the bed was soooo comfotable after a long day of wealking and shows at the Texas Renaissance Festival. We cannot rate this place high enough! Thanks Scott and Mona!

We held a rehearsal dinner at this location for my nephew’s wedding and it was beautiful! The venue was intimate and so fun to decorate! The meal was over the top delicious!! Our compliments to Chef’s Scott and Jeff. Also Mona and her staff were on point for whatever we needed. It’s was a magical night and Jeff and Scott we wish you all the success! Such a wonderful place and full of possibilities!

Great place to stay when visiting Texas Renaissance Festival. Place was pretty. Our suite was the only available at booking and is also the bride’s room for weddings so the decor was a little “sophisticated princess” for our tastes. Would love to try out the other suites. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was comfortable although for the price point I’ve had better, but I’m also super picky.

We had such a lovely stay. The place was adorable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Scott was so nice and tentative. I hope we are in the area again so we can stay another night!
