I am struggling a bit to write this review because I still feel so emotional and touched by our experience with House of Care and the two nurses we had the privilege of meeting: Antoinet and Mieke. But I will do my best.
I think House of Care, and perhaps the Universe, sent them into our lives in exactly the right order and at exactly the right time.
Unfortunately, my delivery was far from smooth, so we came home with a lot of emotions, fears, and feelings to process, and, as it turned out, an unexpected complication arose just one day later.
Antoinet was caring and kind from the very beginning, paying attention not only to my baby and me but equally to my husband. I am sure she is a terrific maternity nurse even when focusing solely on the practical aspects of the job, but in our case, she did so much more. She was our biggest support, helped us through our most vulnerable and emotionally fragile times, and transitioned us from a married couple into a family.
On that scary morning, I felt something was not okay, so I followed the instructions by calling the midwife, who did her best to advise me, and we hung up. When Antoinet arrived, I briefly informed her about the situation as I thought I would be fine. As a new mom, with hormones and adrenaline working so hard to enable me to take care of our baby, husband, and home, I forgot to pay enough attention to myself. Antoinet looked beyond what I told her, paying attention to the signs from me and my body, and immediately called the midwife to come and did not take no for an answer. Half an hour later, I was in such unbearable pain that I cannot describe, but luckily help was on the way by then, and I received the proper treatment in time.
She held our hands and souls at the same time, and after that we experienced the most beautiful time as a new family with her on our side.
Mieke was also fantastic and helped us a lot to take care of our baby and each other. She was very calm and patient during the whole time, sharing a lot of knowledge and experience she has and causing some very fun moments. Mieke: we now officially call the pacifier a satisfier; there is no more accurate name for it.
I am closing this review with happy tears in my eyes and the deepest gratitude in my heart. You are not nurses, you are superheroes. Thank you for everything.

Hele fijne kraamorganisatie! Wij hebben in onze kraamweek twee kraamverzorgenden van House of Care gehad en deze waren beide fantastisch. Kim en Miek; ontzettend bedankt voor al jullie lieve zorgen, de fijne gesprekken en wat jullie ons geleerd hebben.

Ons zoontje is inmiddels 8 maanden oud en we kijken nog regelmatig met zoveel plezier terug op onze kraamweek met Mirjam. Ze heeft ons een fantastische start gegeven en daarvan zijn we nog altijd onder de indruk! Haar kennis, kunde en oog voor mens bleek de goede balans voor ons kersverse gezin. Specifiek haar kennis en passie over/voor borstvoeding heeft ons heel ver gebracht. Wij gunnen elk nieuw gezin een Mirjam!

We kijken terug op een erg fijne kraamweek van ons vierde kindje, dankzij de kraamzorg van House of Care. De zorg was voor ons precies wat we nodig hadden: liefdevolle begeleiding en een flinke dosis ervaring!
Er was rust, we leerden veel nieuwe tips rondom de borstvoeding en er was veel aandacht voor ook de andere kinderen : er werden zelfs pannenkoeken gebakken!
Kortom: een professionele en liefdevolle start waar we echt wat aan hebben gehad. Een aanrader voor iedereen die een goede basis wil leggen in de eerste week.

Esther was amazing in the first days of our baby’s life. Without her all his medical problems wouldn’t have been detected so quickly and acted so efficiently. Something we are forever greatful for!!

Echt fantastisch ervaring gehad, Barbara heeft ons veel geholpen en wij zijn heel blij met haar tips over borstvoeding en slapen en zorgen van de baby!

Interieurvanmies
Wij hebben echt een onwijs fijne kraamtijd gehad, dankzij House of Care. Vorige keer was ik helaas te laat met inschrijven (had het al vaak als tip gekregen dat ze zo fijn zijn) en met onze derde was ik op tijd. Ik snap heeeelemaal waarom iedereen zo lyrisch is over House of Care. Zeker aangezien we vaker kraamhulp hebben gehad, en zo het verschil goed hebben kunnen meemaken. We hadden Celine, en ze was geweldig. Een warm bad, en alles verliep heel rustig. We hebben echt kunnen genieten van de kraamtijd op deze manier. We wensen iedereen een Celine:), dus heel blij dat we deze keer op tijd waren.

Hey House of Care. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better start to parenthood. This week we were blessed to have Suus and Sihem help us out during our first week with our little girl. This was such an incredible experience and If we could, we’d have them over a few times a week every week! That’s how much we’ve loved having them around.
Both of them made sure my partner was treated like a queen— eating well, resting, and recovering the right way. And they didn’t forget about me either. They constantly reminded me to stay hydrated and not to downplay my role as a dad.
They brought so much warmth, calm, and care into our home. What could’ve been a stressful and uncertain first week as parents turned into something we’ll always remember with gratitude.
To any family expecting a baby soon: first of all contact House of Care. Secondly, if you get the chance to have Sihem or Suus (or both) with you, know that you’re in the best hands.
And if we’re ever lucky enough to have another baby, we already know who we’ll be calling.

Wat hebben we een ontzettend fijne kraamweek gehad dankzij de zorg van Mieke van House of Care. Mieke was duidelijk, geduldig en nam alle tijd om haar kennis met ons te delen. Daarnaast was ze echt een aanpakker en maakte zij tijdens de kraamweek voor ons gevoel echt deel uit van ons gezinnetje. Er was ook ruimte om te praten en te lachen en na de kraamweek voelden wij ons zelfverzekerd om deze nieuwe fase in ons leven te starten. Heel veel dank!
