We had an incredible experience with Nielson Fine Floors from start to finish. James and his team were upfront, honest, and communicative during the estimate and consultation process—making us feel confident and informed every step of the way.
The installation crew was professional, punctual, and impressively efficient—they actually finished an entire day ahead of schedule! The craftsmanship is outstanding; they were meticulous with both the installation and cleanup. Every detail was handled with care, and they even moved all of our large furniture and replaced it with felt feet—something we really appreciated. They were extremely flexible with us every day as we made a plan for what areas of the house to tackle so we could house our kitties in another room for the day.
This was a daunting project for us, but Nielson Fine Floors made it smooth and stress-free. We absolutely love how everything turned out and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality flooring and top-notch service.

Exceptional customer service. James assisted us in finding the color tones and type of flooring we were looking for to replace our original 24yr floors, and to update our home. It was a delight to deal with a local professional. The installation crew was the best. They arrived each morning on time, and sometimes worked late to get the days job completed. From walking into the store with just a vague idea that you have a couple of carpeted rooms you'd like changed, to a beautiful finished project, Nielson has the expertise. They helped with material and color selection specifically matched to my home's decor, color scheme & natural and led lighting.
This year were my main rooms. When I am ready to finish upgrading the house, there won't be any competitive bidding, it will simply be a call to James.
