Kate performed a superb service in helping us find a caring environment for my wife who suffers from a stroke on top of having dementia. I cannot say enough positive comments about how well she listened to our needs and found the best possible place for my wife. It was a pleasure to work with her and I strongly recommend her to others. Thank you Kate!!!

When we begin to search for independent living facilities we had no idea that we would be put in contact with a person who would give us so much personal guidance. Mickey has been with us every step of the way. He initially arranged for us to visit four places. At the first facility and the first apartment we were shown we both felt that we had found our place. When we got home, we talked about it and agreed that we should take it even though it had not been our intention to move immediately. That same evening, Mickey called and confirmed our decision, saying that in his opinion we wouldn’t find a better place even though he was losing money by our not following through on the visits to the other three facilities. Mickey was with us for the signing, has phoned subsequently to find out how we were doing, and offered suggestions in finding movers. From my very first call to Senior Care at the suggestion of a social worker at Metro Health, through the transition to 3 different facilities over 6 months due to the unique medical needs my brother had following his trauma in a housefire, our representative, Diane S., followed us every step of the way.
From start to finish, our learning curve was softened by Diane’s perseverance and expertise, staying current with our facility needs and advocating for us when we hit a few big snags.
We are so very grateful for the services of this company as we navigated the system with a partner who understood the nuances and got answers to all of our questions along the way.
Even when we rather abruptly changed our mind as a family about a front-runner facility, we felt supported, not judged.
Thank you Diane and Senior Care Authority! This family has been singing your praises all year!

Meant to do this sooner but life got in the way. Mary helped our family during a very stressful time . Mom was teetering between the hospital , home , rehab and acute rehab. I have worked in senior living for 17 years, however when it came to my own mother, I struggled, and having two siblings needing to get on the same page, I thought it best to seek a 3 rd party and I am glad I did! Mary provided a pretty thorough conference call with all three of us being in different locations and then narrowed our search to two communities and bam, one was just perfect. Don’t waste all of your free time running around. Mary and her team can help!

Mickey Thigpen is a prince. I started the process of looking for independent living facilities on my own and quickly realized I was in over my head. Mickey was exceedingly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and caring in working with my parents. He listened carefully to their needs and took his time in visiting multiple places with us that were a good fit. My parents are thrilled with their new home. He has also helped with connecting us with other services and has even stopped by to ensure my parents are settling in well. I still can't believe we did not have to pay anything ourselves to have his invaluable guidance. I highly recommend SCA to anyone going through this process. You'll be glad to have the help and to have met Mickey.

Readily available as my family was under considerable time pressure, Adam was great. He delivered several properties to view and was knowledgeable about each one. Calm during a chaotic time, we were able to move very quickly, within days, getting my parents placed in a beautiful facility. As he is compensated by the various entities, it was unbiased and at no cost to us. Overall, super service and results.
