This is the second time I have used Simpson & Marwick to sell a property, and both times they have been faultless. Joan kept me informed and gave great advice throughout the process, resulting in a successful sale at a closing date, just 10 days from putting my flat on the market. The viewings team were also fantastic in organising 25 viewings for me, making the process stress-free. The whole team are highly professional and you feel like you are in safe hands. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Joan McAuley was fantastic throughout the process and we would highly recommend her and Simpson & Marwick for selling your property. Despite selling in a slow and difficult market, Joan always had fresh ideas and persisted until she found a very good buyer. Our only comment is that we would have preferred that Simpson & Marwick returned to advertising on ESPC as well.

I wish I could share the positive experiences mentioned in some reviews, but unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience.
If you’re looking for an estate agent who is unresponsive and lacks knowledge about the property they’re selling, then Simpson & Marwick might be the choice for you. Even the most basic questions cannot be answered, leaving you reliant on the property owner for information.
When it came to handing over the keys, the process felt rushed and impersonal—a simple “drop and run” approach.
If you value professionalism and a seamless experience, I cannot recommend Simpson & Marwick, at all.

Simpson & Marwick did a great job. Despite us being located 400 miles away from Edinburgh everything went very smoothly. Joan and the whole team were very good at keeping us up to date and gave great advice on marketing the property and balancing speed of sale vs maximising the value of the property. Highly recommended!
