Online shopping with Tent World was a decent experience - they even followed up with a personal call to check the items I ordered were correct. After that, it all fell apart... Tent World has chosen 'Couriers Please' as their courier and they are, without a doubt, the most inept courier in Australia. Tent World - you are only as good as your weakest link and you are primarily responsible for choosing a historically negligent courier - trying to wash your hands of these shipping problems doesn't separate you from the overall shopping experience. To add to that, the 'narky' and conceited way in which it was dealt with by senior staff, with regards to a refund, was a real eye opener... Once bitten...
EDIT AFTER RESPONSE - Taken some time to get back to this... I'm going to strongly disagree with your assessment of all couriers being the same. With regards to my purchase - I cancelled the order because it was not going to make it before we left for holidays. I could not get a refund as it needed to be returned to TentWorld first (potentially another long wait) - BUT the order was then delivered and I had to return from holidays to get it, so it wasn't stolen and leaving me out of pocket. I also notice you didn't address the behaviour of of your staff, as mentioned ??? ... Independent camping stores provide far better service.
