I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with The Sleep Loft has been the worst customer service I’ve encountered. To be fair, the initial sales experience was excellent. The team is knowledgeable, helpful, and they strongly emphasize the flexibility to return or exchange your mattress if it’s not working for you. That was a major selling point for me. Unfortunately, the experience completely falls apart after the sale. I’ve been trying to process a simple mattress exchange since March 23rd. Over that time, I’ve called, emailed, and even gone into the store in person multiple times. Each time, I’m told something different—“it’s been ordered,” “we’re waiting on confirmation,” “it’s at the warehouse”—but nothing actually happens, and no one follows through. I’ve repeatedly been promised callbacks (“within the hour,” “this afternoon,” “Monday or Tuesday”), and not once has anyone followed up as stated. At one point, I was told there was a delay due to an “incorrect email address”—which makes no sense, as it’s the same email tied to my original purchase and all prior communication. An employee admitted to me he doesn’t know why this false excuse was provided. One important word of caution: your recourse as a customer here is extremely limited. Despite what is presented during the sales process, you can’t simply return the product and move on like you would with most retailers. If something goes wrong, you’re dependent on their process—and based on my experience, that process lacks urgency, communication, and accountability. At this point, it feels like I’ve been given the runaround for weeks. I’ve made every effort to resolve this, but the lack of follow-through has been incredibly frustrating. I am still waiting for this exchange to be completed or for someone from management to step in and resolve this properly. If this is the standard of customer service, I would strongly caution others before doing business here.

I had a great experience at Sleep Loft, thanks to Malique. From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right mattress—not just making a sale. He took the time to understand my needs, answered every question in detail, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. He also made the whole process surprisingly fun, which I didn’t expect when shopping for a mattress. What really stood out was how much care and attention he gave throughout the entire process. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to customer satisfaction. This was, without a doubt, the best mattress shopping experience I’ve ever had.
