Unique Homecare have been brilliant. They took the time to understand what help I needed for my mum and also what my mums life was like, what she liked and disliked and the sort of person that she would get on with. Yvette who visits my mum, takes her out twice a week and mum always comes home happy and buzzing from her day. I was very apprehensive that having a carer would work as my mum gets on with very few people but Unique Homecare perfectly matched the sort of person my mum gets on with and it has worked far better than I ever imagined giving me peace of mind.

Unique have provided care for my parents for over four years. We couldn’t manage without them and their care team, they have enabled us to keep our parents in the home they love. They have been particularly brilliant in times of crisis, stepping up to support us through medical emergencies.

They are truly a unique employer! Finally a care company that puts clients and employees first. Very kind and approachable management, there is culture of friendliness and helpfulness in the office and among the carers, rather then gossip and “clicks” that I’m normally used to working in the industry for the last few years. I feel like I can ask for support and help any time and my work is appreciated very much. Clients are lovely and it’s a pleasure to get to know them. Highly recommend, they are flexible and understanding when you have other commitments like childcare or uni. 5 stars!

Working at unique homecare has been a deeply rewarding experience. One of the most fulfilling aspects of the job is the ability to make a meaningful impact on my clients' daily lives. The personal connections I’ve built are unlike anything I’ve experienced in other jobs. I feel like I’m truly helping individuals maintain their independence and dignity, especially when they are in vulnerable situations. There’s a sense of purpose in knowing that my work helps clients stay in their homes comfortably, rather than moving to a care facility, which often means a lot to both them and their families. The job offers a great deal of flexibility, which is one of its biggest advantages. Whether I need part-time or full-time hours, the ability to schedule my shifts according to my needs is a major perk, particularly for the fact i am also a university student. Unique Homecare services have been perfect with working around it. The diverse tasks and personal connection make each day different and engaging. If you’re someone who thrives on building relationships and values flexibility, this job is a great fit. It requires patience, empathy, and resilience, but the rewards—both personal and professional—are significant. Worked for Unique 3 months but it has been the best. Staff are brilliant, they put the clients and their needs first aswell as taking care of all the staff at the same time Highly recommend Unique as a care company for clients and a job. Great to work with.

Absolutely love my job with Unique.
Been with the company 6 months now.
Never done care work before but that wasn't an issue, full training given and there's always help when needed.
I love the family unit that's created and working with the clients.
