Dr. Tamplen and his team deliver an exceptional patient experience, and I am so happy I placed my trust in Dr. Tamplen to perform a rhinoplasty on my nose. Before seeing Dr. Tamplen, I had a deviated septum that made it difficult to breathe and a nose that didn’t feel in alignment with the rest of my facial features. From the very first consultation, Dr. Tamplen was kind, thoughtful, and attentive. He took the time to answer all my questions, address my concerns, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the process.
He performed both a septoplasty and rhinoplasty, and my breathing has improved significantly since the surgery. During recovery, he checked in on me frequently to make sure everything was healing well, which I really appreciated. The final result has been fantastic. My nose now complements my facial features much more naturally, and the change has made a noticeable difference in my appearance. At the same time, I still look like myself, which was exactly what I wanted.
I’m incredibly grateful to Dr. Tamplen for doing such a great job and for being there every step of the way. If you’re looking for a surgeon who not only knows what he’s doing but also truly cares about his patients, you’re in excellent hands with Dr. Tamplen.

Amazing amazing doctor. The entire process was incredibly smooth and professional from my consult to day of surgery.
I was a very tough case due to an accident I had as a kid (I had almost cut my entire nose off) and urgent care stitched my nose up very poorly resulting in heavy asymmetry and scar tissue. I had a revision in middle school that left me with a more bulbous nose and asymmetry, as they were unable to do much more because of how young I was at the time. I decided to finally get a proper revision and went with Dr. Tamplen. I’m six months post op and could not be happier!!
I knew I would be a tough case because of my history and he absolutely exceeded my original expectations of what I thought was possible for me :) I previously had a nostril much smaller than the other and am very satisfied with the sizes of my nostrils now and can breathe perfect as well!
I could not recommend Dr. Tamplen more and really believe I received the best possible results for my case by going with him.

I found Dr. Tamplen while researching plastic surgeons in Scottsdale. I was already familiar with some but not sold on their reviews or photos. When I came across Dr. Tamplen, I was impressed by the amount of positive feedback he had, and pics of his work. Instagram is a good reference point.
I went in for a revision rhino and brought along a “wish list” for other procedures. Right away, Dr. Tamplen was honest and transparent—he told me that one of my requests was too aggressive. That earned immediate respect; it’s clear he prioritizes what's best for you.
In the end, I had a revision rhino, upper bleph, endoscopic brow lift, and some chin lipo. I’m six weeks post-op and already thrilled with the results. Everything is so subtle in the best way. I wanted to look refreshed, not like a different person. Revision rhinoplasty can be tricky, but Dr. Tamplen absolutely delivered. I can’t wait to see my results at the three-month mark.
Beyond his technical skill, Dr. Tamplen is incredibly kind and personable. Great beside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Tamplen to anyone seeking a skilled, compassionate, and trustworthy plastic surgeon.
