Dr. Tamplen is what I consider to be a real-deal Face Whisper. He has instinct, talent and vision to create an aesthetic outcome that makes one's face refreshed, recharged, youthful and not overdone. This is my 3rd procedure and couldn't be happier. It's only been 5 weeks but swelling is gone, scars are slowly disappearing and he was responsive when I had a minor infection while traveling. I also appreciate his ethics and honesty. When I wanted to do another procedure (because I'm a plastic surgery junkie), he advised that I don't need a total face lift at this time. He will not over sell you. His approach leans on the conservative side of aesthetics and is masterful at surgical wrapping! I almost didn't want to remove the wrapping (see attached photo) because it is total ART! I really don't know how there's so much talent in one surgeon. His fees are competitive and has a good bed side manner. I'm grateful for his Scottsdale staff and will return in the future.

Changing the center feature of your face is no small decision. I looked at various rhinoplasty surgeons before deciding to meet with Dr. Tamplen, and, honestly, my only regret is not going to him sooner!

Dr. Tamplen’s attention to detail and skill are clearly reflected in the aesthetic results that you see in his portfolio. He addresses structural issues with your nose that support an absolutely beautiful and natural looking result. I truly looks like I was just born with the perfect nose for my face!
Not only is he incredibly skilled in his art, but he is also personable and makes you feel comfortable and confident in your decision throughout the entire process. Both before and after surgery, he and his staff are available to answer any questions or address concerns. And they are so nice!
As if the aesthetic results weren’t enough, I can breathe SOOO much better! It’s like night and day. For years I thought I just had allergies. But, it turns out my nose just needed Dr. Tamplen to fix the structural issues!
I honestly could go on and on about how wonderful Dr. Tamplen and his staff are. If you’re considering setting up a consultation with him, just do it! You will be so happy you did!

Can’t say enough great things about Dr. Tamplen and his team. About two weeks post Rhinoplasty, my nose is looking better by the day! He is a master of facial surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Tamplen for Rhinoplasty. Saved us a trip to CA, so glad we found him and his amazing staff. I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Tamplen and honestly couldn’t be happier! The consultation went great he really listened and answered all my questions. The staff was super nice and helpful too. After 20 years of being very self-conscious about the appearance of my nose, I scheduled consultations with a few different surgeons to see what could be corrected.
After meeting with several surgeons, I knew that Dr. Tamplen was the surgeon for me. I am so glad I trusted him to correct my nose. It has been eight months since my surgery and not only are the aesthetic results everything I had hoped for, but my sense of taste and smell has noticeably improved. Additionally, when working out, practicing yoga, running, and performing other activities that require controlled breathing, I am able to breathe through both nostrils at a much improved rate, enhancing my workouts and performance. This surgery has been life-changing for me, I no longer worry about my nose or what it looks like, this has been very freeing and has reduced my anxiety significantly. My only regret is that I wish I would not have waited until I was in my late 30s to do it, but great things are worth the wait.
