Not really convinced by our visit.
Drinks are on the expensive side, specially the wine by the glass.
As far as food is concerned, I would say it's a mixed bag of experiences. Our starters (charred cauliflower and miso glazed eggplant ) were excellent, albeit the eggplants were on the spicy side (we were duly notified about that).
The two ladies asked for the inside out quinoa burger, but it wasn't available... The grass fed burger was a second choice, and was good. My spicy panang curry potato was rather strange: spicy (as advertised), liquid (more a soup than a sauce texture), the potatoes undercooked, and it came with a side of (cold!) brown rice. In my opinion, it is an error to mix rice and potatoes, but I admit it's a matter of taste. The topping of grass fed steak ($6.00) was so thinly sliced that it could rather have been non existant.
So, all in all, a strange experience. In an era of food allergies and specific diets, this place is an option. But it won't me my first option, for sure.
