Kurs als Bildungsurlaub geleistet, TOP Cornelia, die zuständige Koordinatorin ist super hilfsbereit und berücksichtigt sogar individuelle Wünsche bei der Organisation. Die eine Woche war sehr intensiv und spannend, ich hatte wirklich viel Spaß. Die Kollegen in Mailand sind sehr kompetent und nett, besonders Luca, sein Lehrstil und die Atmosphäre in der „Klasse“ ist bei mir sehr gut angekommen. Grammatik und Wortschatzerweiterung, Hörverstehen und viel-viel Reden sind Bestandteile des Unterrichts. Die eigenen Unterlagen sind auch sehr nützlich und unterstützen die bearbeiteten Themen. Neben den täglichen Unterrichtsstunden gibt es immer wieder diverse Kulturprogramme.

During my time spent at Scuola Leonardo da Vinci, I attended lessons for the preparation of a language diploma, B2. The course itself was very thorough and all aspects of the exam were covered in depth. I had practice speaking, writing, reading and listening which gave me confidence sitting the exam. The teaching and preparation was excellent, with help and support given from fantastic teachers and was very well prepared. I would highly recommend the course for anyone who is considering sitting a diploma in Italian.

Great course of italian I liked that you can start anytime. I chose intensive course (12:30-17:30), conversation first and then grammar. Conversation with Antonio was funny and he did his best to make us speak. He spoke only italian, new words tried to explain in italian, only if there was really big problem with understanding he used english. Grammar with Roberto was especially useful to me because we learned corcondanza dei tempi and congiuntivo which were always problem for me. Also he made us speak a lot. All staff were extra friendly, school nice with chillout areas, organize activities for students. And also offers accomodation. It was greaaaaat experience, thank you, because of you I passed my cils exam!

Ottimo posto! Sono andato a Leonardo la scuola vinci per oltre 6 mesi mentre stavo indicando in Firenze. Tutto il personale e gli insegnanti c'era veramente gentile e aiutare a tutte le ore. Quando sono arrivato a Firenze per la prima volta, il mio italiano non è abbastanza per riempire i moduli di permesso di soggiorno. La Segretaria mi ha aiutato a ottenere attraverso e qualsiasi tipo di chiede sono stati hanno risposto con gentilezza e sorrisi. Mentre ero a scuola per 6 mesi ho avuto più di 10 insegnanti, e ci sono state molto professionali e bravi in quello che fanno. Non solo per l'insegnamento le lezioni di lingua italiana, ma anche dal punto di vista culturale, storicamente sono tutti consapevoli di quello che gli studenti vogliono imparare. La scuola si trova a soli 3 minuti di distanza dal DUOMO. Anche alcune delle aule scolastiche hanno il grande vista del DUOMO, così si potrebbe essere in grado di cogliere le opportunità di godere. E c'è anche una biblioteca 1 minuti dalla scuola, ed è aperto a tutti. ( Questa libreria ha una bella vista sul DUOMO haha)

Arrive'derci Roma! I attended the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci in Rome for two weeks in early May 2017. I had started a weekly beginners class in italianat home in London in September 2016 really to keep my brain busy in the winter. The weekly course was basically menus, directions, tourist needs etc. Alongside this class I did almost daily Duolingo which is free app online. So I was a bit nervous but felt I needed to be somewhere where I could practise speaking it to improve. On the first morning we did a short test and were assigned to appropriate level groups. I was pleased to find I did not count as a complete beginner! The teachers were so nice. They soon got us talking to each other and it was fun and I improved. The hotel staff began to notice I was using Italian more successfully as the two weeks proceeded. I will keep learning Italian and feel spurred on by my two weeks at the school. The other really nice factor is the other students from all over the world Russia, Holland , Germany, Mexico, Australia etc, all learning for different reasons , with ages spread evenly from 19 though to my own age 70. But learning together is a great leveller and a classmate is a classmate!. The place has a great energetic and positive atmosphere. The three hours of classes per day leaves you time to explore Roma and also to do a bit of homework! I had a great last dinner Piazza di Navona with four lovely people I will stay in touch with. I chose to stay in a nearby hotel so can't comment on the student accommodation or the family connections arranged by the school, though everyone seemed OK with it. I would highly recommend this school.

Brilliant! I had the most amazing time learning Italian in Rome at the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci. The lessons were fun and the teachers, excellent. The admin staff were also brilliant and organised extra lessons for me, when I felt I needed extra help. N/b you cannot learn a whole language in a fortnight, so be realistic! I was without doubt the worst student in the class, probably because I have never tried to learn another language and I am over 40, but this didn't stop me having a great time or from learning enough to speak in shops and museums. I am certainly going to continue with my studies and hope to return next year. I would highly recommend these classes; there is nothing like learning a language in situ. It is also a great opportunity to make new friends. Lessons are varied and incorporate a variety of activities from conversation to singing to aid learning. Groups are supportive and I was delighted to see how each group included like-minded people of a similar level. A big thanks to all of the staff who were endlessly patient and considerate. The School also offers additional lectures on Italian culture and pronunciation as well as walking tours. If you want to learn Italian, book a few weeks here - you will not be disappointed.
