Search no more I knew I wanted to go to the best Italian language school in Florence, but how to discover what the best was? I searched as many websites as I could, talked to people living in Florence and finally decided on the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci. Primarily, I was impressed with their multitudinous certifications and their student insurance program. I registered for the 3 month intensive course, knowing just a few words of Italian from previous classes I had taken over the years and never used. The class was completely in Italian and taught by the most impressive teacher I have ever experienced in my 67 years. Monica had the task of making herself and the Italian tongue understood by students from Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Ecuador, Mexico, France--how could she do it successfully? She acted out the words and the concepts, even the most difficult idioms and she did it with a passion that imparted her love of the Italian language. I would get up every morning, thinking in Italian and excited to get to class. The workbooks were so full of exercises that I have taken them back home with me to work on while I am living in the States. The administration and staff were so very helpful and very sweet: Patricia, Sylvia, Marco and Isadora--they made you feel you were a very important part of the school and the whole experience. I miss it all so terribly I have decided to return next year for the one-on-one language course. This school will change your life and leave you with memories you may never equal.

Una scuola perfetta!! Ciao! Ho passato tre mesi a Firenze lavorando e studiando. Il corso in scuola Leonardo da Vinci era una delle migliori esperienze della mia vita...ho conosciuto le persone dei molti paesi e ho imparato italiano :D quando sono arrivata a Firenze, solo poteva dire ciao, mi chiamo martyna ecc :) e adesso sono capace di parlare con gli italiani. Amazing experience! I studied in Scuola Leonardo da Vinci for 2 weeks in April/May 2015 and I had really GREAT experience! Everything was just perfect - location in the center near Piazza Navona, interesting language program, extra lessons and additional activities. The teachers are excellent, some of them gave me a key to the difficult grammar points. Cristina, thank you very much for your explanations and patience! :-) The student books are very interesting, useful and well done. The family atmosphere in the school helps a lot in studying process! Also I would like to thank girls in the reception Cinzia e Teodora! Thank you very much for your help and assistance, it was very important for me! So I would like to recommend Scuola Leonardo da Vinci to the students from all over the world because this experience would be UNFORGETTABLE!

I was really satisfied with the school and with the programme of La Dolce Vita. Accommodation was great and the hosting family really helpful. The informations we received about the course was adequate and we received all kid of assistance from the Front Desk della scuola. I would definetely recomend the school and “La Dolce Vita” programme.

Все было супер! Всем привет! Хочу поделиться своими впечатлениями от учебы в школе Леонардо да Винчи в Риме. Ездила учиться в мае всего лишь на одну неделю. Взяла курс интенсив всего неделя. Итальянский язык я изучаю уже давно (7 лет), часто езжу в Италию. Но ездить в качестве обычного туриста мне надоело и я решила попробовать себя в роли студента. Выбор мой пал на школу Леонардо да Винчи по нескольким причинам: Во-первых, большой выбор учебных программ и мест где можно проходить обучение. Во- вторых, методика преподавания. Ну и конечно же цены на курсы приятно порадовали. Проживание брала от школы. Проживала в районе Трастевере в квартире вместе с хозяйкой. В Риме я была много раз и поэтому очень обрадовалась тому, что буду проживать в самом итальянском районе Рима)) Добираться до школы было супер-просто и супер-удобно. Максимум 15-20 минут на общественном транспорте. Спасибо большое Чинцие за гостиприимство. ❤❤ Обязательно напрошусь к ней в следующий раз, когда поеду учиться)) Теперь о самом главном, про школу. Обучение происходит по коммуникативной методике с полным погружением в язык. В моей группе было всего 8 человек. Учебники очень хорошие. Понравилось их наполнение полезными грамматическими упражнениями, интересными текстами и материалами по грамматике. Учиться было интересно, легко и приятно)) Спасибо большое моей преподавательнице Ванессе)) Теперь я больше никогда не перепутаю condizionale и congiuntivo))) Было много интересных дополнительных занятий, экскурсий и тандем)) Хочется сказать большое спасибо всему персоналу школы за отличную работу, доброжелательность и отзывчивость. Подводя итог, хочу сказать что мой первый опыт в качестве студента удался на все 100%. Поеду ли туда я снова? Конечно же да!

The best memories! I needed to learn Italian so I decided, SLDV was the best option. I don't regret that at all! Today I can speak Italian fluently (special thanks to Ins. Claudio) but that's not the only reason I write here. They manage a lot of daily tours. If you want to know everything in Milano, they will help you. The best part is that we didn't have to care about tickets, reservations, etc., because they do that for you. We also went to a day your in Pavia and it was amazing. The staff is very friendly, patient and helpful.

I have to admit. I was spectical before my first day in “Scuola Leonardo da Vinci, Firenze”. How on earth would they be able to make me understand and speak at least some italian within only 2 weeks? By not even talking German or English to me..But what shall I say: they made it! with patience and humor and without making me feel “under pressure”. Especially the 2 daily hours on top did me good. Just talking...more and more, day by day….I really spent a great time in the School.

La sistema dello studio è ottimo. Non solo che si impara velocissimo ma anche che i lezioni sono divertenti. Tutti i insegnanti sono carini, gentile e simpatici! Grazie mile! La scuola migliore di Milano! Credo che sia davvero la scuola migliore della citta. Sono venuta a Milano in 2013 e mi sono iscritta a Leonardo. Ho iniziato da zero le lezioni e dopo quasi 7 mesi me la sono cavata a superare 2 esami ufficiali per la conoscenza della lingua. I corsi sono molto precisi ed efficaci. La scuola Leonardo ha insegnanti molto educati che ti aiutano a raggiungere l'obbietivo : conoscere la lingua e parlare. Molte grazie a Claudio, Roberto, i miei migliori insegnati, ancora un grazie a Valentina. Grazie per tutto. Le due ragazze in reception sono pronte ad aiutare tutti i nuoni studenti e non vi preocupate, parlano inglese in modo perfetto. Al meno al inizio parlerete in inglese!!! Oltre delle lezioni la scuola organizza molte attivita per gli studenti per esempio passeggiate nella citta, visitare diverse mostre, organizzare feste, organizzare corsi alternativi come yoga!!!! Scuola Leonardo da Vinci augoro il meglio. Continuate nello stesso modo!

Good attention and great classes All Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci are really good. I studied for a month in the Milan branch school and the classes where really good, nice teachers with good teaching methods. I had a misunderstanding with one staff and the director was really thoughtful offering me different possibilities for the miss understanding and always really happy to help. I really recommend studying Italian here :)

I took 5 weeks of private lessons and I enjoyed them a lot. Thanks to the lessons, I am more fluent and I speak with less hesitations. My vocabulary has increased consistently. I got on really well with my teacher, who was ready to adapt the lessons to my needs!

Look no further... La Scuola Leonardo da Vinci is everything you are looking for... I am one of many many students who returned to Scuola Leonardo da Vinci. I studied there for 2 weeks in March '14 and returned for 9 weeks over the winter of 14/15. There is no need to look elsewhere, this school has everything. It is centrally located, you get optimum attention, and you will learn Italian. I loved this school. The teachers are excellent, hard-working, and committed to teaching... There is not much technology but a lot of direct student-teacher interaction. I liked and admired all of the teachers, and ADORED one or two! One of the great things about the school are the extra activities: there is a language exchange on Mondays, a restaurant evening on Tuesdays, and on Wednesday my favourite, the guided architectural walk, on Thursday a literature class, and on Friday a history lesson alternating with a successful Italian film. Even better perhaps in the afternoons there are free grammar lessons by trainee teachers so you can really pick and choose and do extra classes to build up your grammar. The attention to each and every student is really first class... One other student said to me one day: The Director, Massimo, knows every single student by name, and responds to what they want and need! Enough said... I recommend this school whole-heartedly and without any reservation whatsoever. Choose Scuola Leonardo da Vinci and you will probably return in the future, just like me and so many others. I hope to return in late 2015. Davvero quello lo spero moltissimo!..

The experience in Florence, the school and the accommodation were fantastic. I have learned a lot, much more than I expected. Teaching method was really excellent! I found the text books particularly good, especially the stituational excersices, really useful for conversation. Also all the free time activities were really well organized and interesting.

Studying Italian for 3 months I just finished 3 months of studying Italian at LdV and I've enjoyed the quality lectures, great administrative support and the fantastic atmosphere at school. Great preparation course for the AIL DALI-C2 certificate and magical tour of Palazzo Vecchio with Antonella. Non mi hanno fatto mancare nulla. Bravissimi!
