We are here, he loves his room! He's getting to know everybody and is getting a lot of attention. He thanked me and Judy for setting up the room so beautifully.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the very professional care and treatment being provided to our father John. From the moment we arrived at Banyan Place we felt that we were in the "best of hands." Operation of an assisted living facility such as Banyan Place requires "teamwork" for success. We were impressed by the wonderful cooperation between all members of Banyan Place. The kindness and sincere concern displayed by all was overwhelming, the administrative staff, nurses, CNAs, housekeeping staff, just everyone. I know that my father truly feels that you care about him here at Banyan Place and for that we sincerely thank you. We could not ask for more. A special thanks to the Building A, first-floor team as you are a great, great team. I am confident you will keep up the good care with our father and all the other residents here at Banyan Place. When we are not here, we depend on you to give them the care, attention, and love that they all need. Again, our heartfelt thanks to the Banyan Place team.

Dear Kevin just wanted you to know this, I have in the past belonged to a more expensive places like The Carlisle near by and it did have some great things missing here. like pools, great food ect, and I only moved here to be near my daughter, but you couldn't pay me now to go back there. why? because Banyan is like being in a family, Everyone from the friendly waitresses in the dining room, to our driver could not be any nicer or helpful... He even came up to my place, if I miss an appointment, to see if I'm OK? Yesterday while waiting for the bus from Publix, a woman shared her ice cream with all of us, for we are like a family and I know that all of this is due to your guidance and examples.. so dear Kevin keep up the good work and know that I for one always appreciate you.

I have an aunt that has been living there for many years on the adult independant living side. She is now on the new assisted living side. The place is very beautiful and extremely clean. The grounds are kept to perfection very safe to roam all over. The staff is very accommodating to both the residents and the families. There are activities going on every minute. It is about 17 or 18 years she is living there and has always been very happy there. For the family it is also a wonderful place to visit knowing your loved one is in very good hands at all times.

I enjoyed this facility but I did not see many activities with the residents last time I visited , which I don’t mind due to my mother’s Alzheimer’s not letting do as much as she did but others who might be more alert might find it problematic .

I don't know who is writing these reviews, but don't believe the glowing ones unless you have low standards and are just glad to park your loved one instead of providing real care yourself. Sure, some of the staff are good (even very good) but the place as a whole reflects neglect in pretty much every respect. You can bet that is due to owners who just don't care. Visit before you decide. There are better places in the area. But if you choose this place, make sure someone visits regularly, such as 3 or 4 times a week.

The only people I would put in this stinky (mildew, mold, mixed with whatever you can think of), neglectful, abusive "facility" are my enemies. Residents are clearly bored out of their minds, and they and guests are subject to having to listen to the music staff prefer rather than something of the residents' era. In addition, there are just a few TV channels despite that they advertise having Dish TV. Clearly, the owners are all about maximizing profits and indifferent to providing even a medium quality of life for the residents. If you are considering this "facility" (zoo for the elderly), I strongly urge you to demand spending a couple of nights there yourself before you put any loved ones in this place.

Found out 2 weeks after paying a $2000 deposit that my mother wasnt going to be able to move in. Banyan Place wouldn't even discuss refunding all or part of my deposit. Beware.

Banyan Place charged a $2000 entrance fee before my father arrived ,which they refused to return 48 hours later when it was determined that my dad was terminally ill, could not be released from the hospice facility and passed away. Don’t let their personable facade fool you.

I visited this nicely decorated warehouse for the elderly. The place is lovely looking but look beneath the surface. There were no activities planned, the owner was creepy and not very nice at all. I called to check to see if there were any complaints with the state and sure enough there was about not having activities. Beware of this WAREHOUSE! No way would I put my beloved family member in this place! Don't be fooled, this is clearly a capitalists dream of taking your money and giving nothing in return. I'd rather rent an apartment and have a full time aide for my relative.

Met with the owner and was so depressed after leaving this place. I would never put my parent at B.P. The owner was not very welcoming, the residents looked like they were drugged, there was no life nor activities at this place. I even checked with the state which told me there was a complaint about the lack of activities. This is nothing more than a nicely decorated warehouse for seniors. How sad this is allowed to happen. Shame on the owner!

My point of view :No safety ,not enough activities loud music playing by the security guard is so unprofessional( a senior facility isn't the place) Banyan is such a filthy place for love ones bad odors would literally kill you there and trashes are everywhere, do they even have housekeepers?. I'm so happy that my aunt is out of that place and also 99.8 of the aides aren't able to communicate in English language , so ....maybe they just use body language or sign language to interact with the residents *** security guard : he's an invisible man he doesn't do his rounds to check if everything is safe and sound , but rather hiding in dark places or where the lights are off such as behind the building ,in the game room , behind bushes or behind cars etc .We've spotted him on numerous occasions hideaway, but I just don't understand as to why he just doesn't want to be seen .
