Dr Anderson took care of my son last year and my daughter this Tuesday. Dr Anderson, the staff , and all of the team at Coastal Jaw Surgery Spring Hill , are wonderful. They are professional, cheerful , and always make you feel welcomed. Lisa sat with my daughter until her surgery and really put her at ease. Really wonderful place!

I just got my wisdom teeth removed this morning. The staff were so kind and understanding with me. I am terrified of needles and medical practices, and the nurses were so good about getting me calmed down and relaxed. It made the whole procedure easy and helped me with going through it because I almost had a panic attack multiple times this morning. This is a great place to go to, and should I need anything more done I will definitely come back.

Everyone hates going to the dentist, but it is even worse when you have to have a tooth extracted! It is probably one of the greatest fears one could ever contemplate. I am a male, aged 57 years old, and I tried very hard to keep my teeth throughout my life. I brush, floss, and gargle two times daily. On the right side, I had a wisdom tooth that was just barely visible. It was extremely difficult to keep this area clean, and I thought it might be a good idea to get that right top wisdom tooth removed. I spoke with my dentist, and he concurred with me and thought it best to have the wisdom tooth removed. As I faced the day of reckoning with trepidation, I arrived at my appointment 30 minutes early. As I sat in the waiting room, I noticed how nicely decorated the room was. I noticed a nice American flag and 11 nice-quality chairs, all separated in groups of 3 on various sides of the room. I loved the stained glass window at the receptionist's station. It was a nice natural scene. Very cute and pleasant. One thing I detest upon arriving at a new dentist or doctor is the mountain of paperwork they make you fill out. I was pleasantly surprised that before my appointment, they gave me the opportunity to take care of that tedious and boring task before I showed up to my appointment. I took care of all of this online and was able to fill out the answers, check the boxes, and sign the documents online. There were a couple details that I left blank, and the receptionist did have me provide those little details, but it was so much nicer than having to do the whole stack of paperwork. Upon being called to my appointment, I was greeted by a woman, and she took me in to do a panoramic x-ray, so there was a complete view of the teeth in my mouth. This x-ray was put on a large monitor in the exam/surgical room. All the technicians who worked with me were very upbeat, pleasant, and knew their jobs extremely well. They were able to tell almost immediately that I am a man who takes his health and his oral hygiene very seriously. If there is one thing I don't play games with, it is my health! When the doctor came in, I noticed a very serious air about him. He was well spoken, articulate, and very serious about his occupation. He was handsome, fit, and what appeared to be an extremely responsible doctor. His attention to detail was evident, and his bedside manner was excellent. I knew, with the team that was assembled around me, that I was in good hands. The most painful part of the procedure was the two numbing shots he had to give me in order to perform the extraction. Although quite painful, I did survive the two shots, and within minutes I could feel that the upper right side of my mouth was completely numb. My doctor explained what would happen next and that I would feel some pressure, and then all of a sudden, I felt some pressure, and he said the tooth was out. I absolutely could not believe it! They packed me with gauze, explained the postop procedures, and also let me know what she was telling me would be on the documentation in a little bag they were providing me. I went home and relaxed. I felt no pain. Hours later, I felt no pain. Later that night, I felt no pain. The next morning, I felt no pain. In the afternoon, almost 24 hours after the extraction time, I received a call from a person at Coastal Jaw Surgery office. I think it was one of the gals in the reception area. She asked how I felt, and I told her that I could not believe it. I had absolutely no pain! She asked me on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the least and 10 being the most painful, and I told her ZERO! She was very happy, and she told me not to get too excited, as she thought I would have some pain by the third day. Well, by the third day, I still had zero pain! I consider this a complete miracle and credit the excellent outcome to the staff and my excellent doctor. For all of you who may want his name, his name is Dr. Otham Rezki. He is a wonderful doctor!!!
