What a great store!!
I visited here two weeks ago and bought some camping gears. Even though I kept asking a shopkeeper(she was a trainee) lots of questions, she answered to them and explained very kindly. I could’ve been intimidated by a great range of goods without her. I am going to visit soon to get other gears!!

What a store! Tentworld = everything you could ever want for camping. First visit and I was blown away with the range and depth of product.
Then the service - did not disappoint - Matt took his time to explain features of tents, demonstrated putting them up and packing them down. Nothing was too difficult. Did the same with air-mattresses,the same with the camp stretchers.
Patience in sales is rare - very busy shop with staff greeting and handling multiple customers.
Highly recommend.

Me and my wife bought our entire camping set up from Tent World after loosing all our old camping gear in last years flood. Their team was super helpful, their prices were better than the other shops and I can't fault them at all.
5 Stars all round - The only camping shop to go too!

Amazing girls and store Called Monday, spoke with Catherine asked her to help me & she went above and beyond. Arrived in store @ closing time for the girls to appolagise as they're short staffed but Catherine had it ready for me to just pay. Fiona and Catherine you women are champions for doing what you did in that huge store of amazing goodies, (sorry for holding you back chatting) I'll be spreading the word around about how wounderful you both are and I'll definitely be back to buy more. High 5 girls!

Over 2 weeks ago I was promised from Erin the 3.0 pods would be in by Friday 18th. Upon calling the store a week later, Katherine explained she'd been on holidays, would look into it and call back with an update. Within 20 minutes Katherine called to confirm a new estimated date, she then called again to confirm stock was missing in transit but I would be updated everytime she knew of any changes. This woman is absolutely amazing kept to her word and that's exactly what happened. Katherine called again today with an update they've arrive and my pod was ready for collection. I can't thank this wounderful service, knowledge and honesty enough. Thank you again Katherine for your amazing customer service your an absolute gem. Look forward to seeing you next week for the joolca shower system.

Purchased a Zempire Bamboo Kitpac Std foldable camping table. Found these on a America you tube channel, inquired about product, received outstanding service from Helen and am more than in love with this product. Stood the test of FNQ dew and so much more sturdy than a roll up aluminum version. Anti bacterial and waterproof. Also with an inbuilt bottle opener. GOLD.

Excellent shop, good staff, well stocked. Experienced really helpful and knowledgeable staff over three or four visits. Store well laid out with plenty of product. Critically in today’s world, their pricing is sharp and competitive with online stores. Yet it is always great to see, touch the product in store. Tentworld will be my ‘go to’ camping store in the Townsville area. Well done!

Today we returned to Tentworld Garbutt to purchase quite a few camping items as we were impressed the first time we went there when we spent over $2k on gear. Once again we could not fault the staff and the service they provided. Not only do they have huge range but so many helpful staff - couldn’t believe how they constantly tried their best to help us. We spent over $500 again today and have officially found the perfect camping store for us to shop!

where do i start regarding this huge store. I was blown away with the amount of range they cover. We got greeted with a smiling little lady (Katherine) who went above and beyond with us while selecting a tent to accommodate our family. Ill defiantly return and probably spend another $1300 :) Cheers

My wife and I went into the Townsville store today to buy a tent for the family. Helen showed us a range of tents, even setting them up for us to look at, as well as to show us how easy they were to assemble and disassemble. She gave us options we hadn’t thought of before, such is the range available at Tentworld. The best part was she wasn’t the pushy sales person you get elsewhere, and we actually spent less than we originally budgeted for. The main focus was that we got what was right for our family. I will definitely be shopping there again.

Always heard great things about Tentworld from friends but finally got to visit the store in Townsville and pretty sure I will be a life long customer.
After being greeted instantly to help, I was honoured the price from the boxing day sale from 24 hours earlier with no hesitation for a tent we have had our eye on for some time, the team personally put up the tent my wife and I were considering in a room dedicated just for the that task for customers and they never put on the hard sell the entire time we were in the store. Nothing was a hassle.
Cheers to Helen who was a great help and also followed up promptly emailing us some information regarding camping bedding.
Anyone that has used Tentworld online before know that the prices are outstanding for quality camping gear so to have it at our doorstep now is a real privilege. It was nice knowing you BCF and Anaconda.

Tentworld Garbutt has a great range of camping gear and lots of items on sale every time I have been in. I would like to thank Nick for his fantastic service this week . I rang chasing a particular tent and Nick offered to pack the floor display as it was the only one left in the store (and at a great sale price) and I was running out of time with Xmas around the corner. It was perfectly packed when we collected it. My husband and I have shopped there several times since the opening and have always found what we were after and at great prices. Spacious store and easy parking make it our first stop when shopping for camp/hiking gear.

We bought our black wolf turbo 300 plus with a mat today off these guys. Oh my, they are now my new go to camping store. So glad they have opened up a bricks and mortar here in Townsville! Ps - the store is Huge, and sooooo fun to explore. Just maybe watch your wallet - that burning hole syndrome is strong in this place .
