This is a real review. I always use Autoslash to rent a vehicle. I also read their emails, I know this means I am a total dork, but they have rental car stories from hell (and who doesn't have one of those) and how to avoid them. I still think this whole EZ pass thing needs to be resolved. Drivers should be able to drive and not get fined when there isn't an actual toll booth. The rental car companies should not be allowed to try to upsell us expensive transponders with ridiculously opaque pricing structures. Just give is the darn transponder and pass the toll fees onto us in a fair way. If you are looking for a car, and prices for summer rentals are crazy expensive (thanks inflation!) Call Autoslash. I just used the "pay now" feature for a rental but I can still cancel 48 hours before the day and get a refund so that saved some cash. Go autoslash. Oh and when you email them, they email you back really fast and they are smart and knowledgeable. Its like something from 20 years ago.
