Alan and his team at Garage Experts of Jacksonville did a fantastic job with our garage floor. We had Jeff & Alan do our 3 car garage floor 6 months ago. This was the final piece of a complete home renovation and the second time I have had a garage floor refinished. The entire experience from start to finish was great.

Alan and Jeff are old school in the best possible way. They are professional, polite and do truly quality work. They took a grungy, disgusting garage floor and transformed it into a beautiful space. They had to do a lot of work prepping the floor working late into the evening and returning the next day under nasty weather conditions to complete the job. Highly recommend them.

I knew I needed a solution in our garage for storage, but did not know where to start. After contacting several companies to get quotes and processes for cabinets and overhead racks, I went with Garage Experts for many reasons. We heard about the floor product that Garage Experts provides from a friend who got his done when moving to a new home near Chicago. We live in Indiana near Chicago. We were in the process of building a home in the Jacksonville area and decided to contact several floor coating companies to discuss their product, their preparation of the floor prior to coating, warrantees and prices. Jeff Ballou the co-owner of Garage Experts in Jacksonville answered our emails almost instantly. He was very easy to talk to on the phone, has been in business for a long time, and described their process which included cleaning the floor with commercial sanders and a lifetime warrantee at a competitive price. The next time we were down south, we met with him to have him measure the floor and show us some samples of the color of the material we eventually chose. We scheduled the work with him even though we were not in Florida and saw the result a few weeks later. It is a marvelous coating and we could not be more pleased. Of course, we have not used the floor much yet, but we are sure that Mr. Ballou will back up his product. After we move, we intend to look into the neat array of cabinets and storage units he also stocks and installs. Overall, we recommend Garage Experts, especially working with Mr. Ballou without hesitation and we are glad to have selected their company.

Some background - I had another local company update my garage after hurricane Matthew and I thought they did a good job - even though they took weeks to complete, were difficult to work with, and had to redo my floor because they failed to prep it properly the first time. A few years later (now) the floor started peeling up and has been holding dirt and stains. Of course, the old company closed down - a fly-by-night group who I've since learned goes from business to business failing each time.
Fortunately, I found Garage Experts. They came in and completely removed the old floor, down to the original concrete, and re-surfaced it properly - all within a single day (instead of weeks).
Not only are they professional, but they're also nice guys and easy to work with.
Best of all, their work has a guarantee that's backed by the Franchise - so even if they stop locally (I hope not!), the franchise will step in and fulfill the warranty - unlike the jokers I hired a few years ago.

We contacted Alan about our garage project we were starting. He came out right away and met with us. We discussed the different floor colors a d the repairs needed to make the floor look good. We set a date to get the floors completed. He called us a week before the job was to start to go over any further details and to confirm the start date. He arrived as scheduled and completed the job as planned. The floors look amazing. Him and is team done a great job and I would recommend them to all my family and friends. Thanks Alan.

These guys were super friendly and professional. They had our work done same day which was wonderful! We had several cracks in our floor that they filled as a part of their prep and I couldn't even tell you now where they were because you can't see them at all! Awesome work, awesome guys!
