Good service, but does not have a good queue and it is hard to tell how long you will wait as you can't tell who is serving customers or not.

My wife and I came in because the previous agent made a mistake on my wife's autoplan policy at the dealership. The gentleman who helped, Gio, explained everything very thoroughly and fixed the problem. He also seems to be one of the few people who can actually explain something to you because the few times we called we were given incorrect information. I would suggest training your other staff a bit more because they don't seem to have a clue about whats going on when they pick up the phone.

They come up with ways to take your money instead of trying to help you save. I don't pay tax and because it takes so long to get one they wouldn't accept the number and Id. They are polite while they do it

It depends who does your job there. Go to the two Iranian gentlemen. They know their job. Unfortunately the rest of them are not as efficient and knowledgeable.

North Vancouver office Beware of their overpriced insurance! Even if they tell you that they can compare against private car insurance options do your own research as their options are extremely overpriced. Don't give into the pressure at the dealership when you are in a hurry to enjoy your new car. And if you try to cancel a policy you get hit with so many fees you basically get no refund. I was told a manager would contact me and when I was not contacted I called myself and was told the manager had stepped out and will call back, still has not happened. Will never deal with them again and will tell everyone I know to stay away. UPDATE: Was provided a full refund

I have to say I honestly had a very poor experience at Allwest Insurance North Vancouver this morning. I was left feeling very frustrated & disappointed with the lack of customer service & professionalism provided by the staff. I was given a market value amount for my car & a quote for my monthly insurance the previous night by a staff representative and came back the next morning to transfer ownership for the vehicle & renew my insurance and they increased the market value of the vehicle by $1,800. I expressed that I had been there yesterday evening and given a quote by another staff member and came back that morning to finalize the ownership transfer & insurance renewal after I aligned the finances to proceed but they would not honour it. Having worked in the industry for several years prior it’s highly unprofessional for one staff representative to give a market value on a vehicle one day & then increase it over night when trying to get the exact same product at the same insurance company & location. Both of these are simple services that clients ask for on the daily. I would strongly recommend against going here for your insurance & after my recent experience I question their processes, accuracy, organization and integrity as a company & training of staff.

Worst service they only sell insurance and no service. I bought an insurance (optiom) with my new car and the next day I asked them to cancel. But still after more than a month of emailing and calling I can't find anyone responsible. They still haven't refunded my money. And they do not give an exact answer that they are going to do this or not.

Worse customer service experience I have ever had. Inquiring for home insurance, a lady from the office called me back a few hours later. After a brief talking over the phone, she said she would send me the code to my email. But the email never being received. I called the lady back to confirm the email address, she said she would send it to me one more time. Again, another couple of hours and the email never come. Called the lady one more time, she never picked up the phone then, nor did she send me the email.

Came here for registration and insurance. The guy who helped me basically treated me like I didn't know anything, did not explain the plan to me until i asked for more detail, did not provide different quotes, and made me feel frustrated with the process. I'm new to Canada, so I'm not familiar with the system. While helping me, he did not tell me what he was doing and left me sitting for minutes at a time while he sorted out my documents, and even helped other agents without acknowledging me.

Bought a car from the dealer, they called their all west agent to come in, I normally don’t deal with all west. The agent sold me the vehicle replacement policy, barely explained what it was and just told me to sign. Before we parted ways, I asked her what the cancelation process was, and her words were that I can call or go to any all west location and any agent will be able to cancel my policy. The next day, I called their Burnaby location and I basically was given the run around. They told me it’s better to either call the same agent or deal with their office directly. I left the agent a voicemail telling her to call me back as I was looking to cancel, never got a call back. I called her office and reception put me through to another agent. After going back and forth with the agent I was being given the run around again. His words exactly were that he could help me, but it’s best I speak with the selling agent. Basically, nobody wanted to help because there was no commission being made. I told him to just cancel as I never wanted to deal with all west ever again, I have my own sussex office I go to, and have never had any issues. Absolutely the worse experience when it comes to insurance, horrible customer service amongst both locations. Piece of advice, NEVER give the customer the run around. Looking forward to dealing with my own insurance guy.

I would give -20 if it was an option. I have been getting insurance there for over 10 years . Staff are not Knowledgable and are quick to tell you we cant help you when they can. It would require doing a little research which is too much work for them. Will not go back ever again!! I went to the Co-Operators at Park and Tilford and was helped by Knowledgeable staff and was and was in and out in less time than it took at Allwest to not help me!

Stay away. Would NOT recommend. Was there last spring to sign up for new insurance. Found them to be unethical in signing me up for much more expensive private insurance rather than looking for my best interest. Details below. The lady thought I was “picky” and it seemed to really inconvenience her that I wanted to pick out my specific BC Parks plate. Then when registering for insurance, she asked me if I wanted to go with private insurance rather than full through ICBC. My response was “you can go ahead and do a quote, but last time I checked it was much more expensive for this vehicle” (Land Rover). She proceeded to do it, and start singing me up without telling me the price. I had to stop her and ask what the price was. She told me, and I said “ok that’s great, but what’s the price doing it fully through ICBC?” She said “oh don’t worry private is usually cheaper”. I knew it wasn’t as I had an ICBC quote in my hand. In this case private/family insurance that they rep was $400/year more expensive. I found this to be extremely unethical. I’ll try and give her the benefit of the doubt that she didn’t know it was that much more expensive. But still, she led me down that path without doing her due diligence of finding what the cheaper price was, in my best interest. Likely they get paid more commission on private so she was intentionally leading me down that path hoping I didn’t realize or care.

Worst costumer service ever. My car broke down in the middle of the road and I called them to ask for help. The guy who picked up the phone was kind of rude, because instead of tried to help and calm me, he got angry because I couldn't write down the number of the towing.

I have never experienced worse service from an insurance company. The first agent that I dealt with was very rude and was in a rush to get out the door. She was unable to correctly give me a temporary operating permit for my vehicle. The next agent realized that the first one had overcharged me for the permit which needed to be re-done. Another agent at this company told me that I did not have the correct paperwork to insure my vehicle. Later on, he called me and admitted that I did actually have the correct paperwork. This was after I had already gone home and my operating permit had run out. I have never dealt with a more incompetent company and would not recommend this company even for the completion of simple tasks.

I bought a certified pre-owned vehicle in North Vancouver. This dealership invited an agent, Susie, which came from Allwest Insurance North Vancouver as per ICBC. I only requested a temporary out of province permit and not an insurance, since I already have an Albertan insurance covering the vehicle. She was asking me a bunch of questions one by one without letting me see what she is doing in her computer. Afterwards, she made me sign electronically and charged me through my Visa using a portable device. Then she printed the paperwork and quickly went out of the dealership without explaining what she did. I was charged $120 for a car insurance (ICBC) only for 4 days!! and another $28 which is the temporary permit (I don't mind the $28. This is what I should have only paid!!). I complained to another lady in the same dealership which also came from ICBC but she just told me, "sorry we already printed it". I called the Allwest Insurance office later and they told me a bunch of nonsense like it was just a miscommunication. Cancelling would cost me cancellation fee. Be careful, these people are crafty and sly. I feel like they stole my $120 . Legal but not honest. Update: I talked with James over the phone and he explained sincerely what happened. I appreciate the follow-up and the prompt response. The charges to the difference were rectified as per James. Thank you!

North Vancouver branch. Absolutely terrible, offensive service. Long-term customer and I will never go back again. You better think twice before you hire staff members because you just lost a customer because of one of them.
