My sister and I were very happy with the service that she received from Dr. Mize and the staff at Sunset Periodontics. She has some physical challenges that they were very helpful with and the dental care was excellent. She had implants several years ago in Florida, and Dr. Mize was willing to take care of problems that she developed after she moved to SC. I highly recommend this group for periodontal care.

I have been a patient at Sunset Periodontics for more than twenty years and can say unequivocally that I am yet to have a bad experience. I initially had gum surgery performed by Dr. Newton and have had no negative experiences with my gums since that time. Evelyn has been my hygienist for at least ten years and in addition to being a excellent hygienist she is also a wonderful person I would recommend Sunset to anyone that might be interested in any of the services they provide.

Everyone is very nice and friendly starting from the people that greet you at the check in and check out. Dr. Mize and Kim make you feel very comfortable, and very nice and polite also. I felt just a little stick when Dr. Mize was getting me ready for my procedure. I would highly recommend them, they were recommended to me by someone else also.

Dr. Thomas Mize and his staff are very knowledgeable and efficient. Dr. Mize is an excellent periodontist. He is skillful, informative and caring. I have been very pleased and grateful for the excellent results he has achieved in my case. I highly recommend Dr. Mize and his staff.
Just to update this prior post, Dr. Mize goes above and beyond what the usual physician would do. He did additional literature research, talked to fellow doctors and worked hard to find the best treatment for my situation and the medical conditions I faced. I continue to be impressed by Dr. Mize and his staff, and am very grateful for their help and expertise.
