I found my experience with WVA excellent. I purchased a 1993 F250 and I entirely almost relied on the third party "AutoCheck" score which provides a great snapshot on what works and what does not work as well as a comparison to other similar vehicles. I know that when you purchase a vehicle without seeing it, you are bound to find a couple of things that might disappoint. My sales rep, Greg, didn't try to 'sell' me. He said it was a great truck in good condition - and left it to me to make that decision. I felt no pressure at all. In the end, I made an offer that was presented to the owner and it was accepted. When the truck arrived, it met all my expectations. It is as he described and while it has some wear and tear, there are no disappointments whatsoever. With any vintage purchase, something can go wrong after it's yours. That is the nature of buying something that is many years old and not the sellers issue. That's about wanting an old vehicle! I feel that this truck is exactly as it was described. A higher mileage, well loved truck that was fairly represented in the pictures.
In Ontario, you are required to have the car safety certified prior to licensing. That includes a wide variety of checks - and this truck passed with flying colors. It didn’t need even a lightbulb. I was so pleased with its integrity. While a few more pictures of a couple of areas that were more worn would have been nice, I thoroughly recommend Greg Boynton and the team at WVA.
