I just received my first order of raw colostrum from Miller’s Bio Farm, and I want to say how impressed I am with the entire experience. The care they put into their packaging tells you everything you need to know about the way they run their farm. The box arrived with dry ice, the insulation was high quality and fully organic, and the product was still completely solid when it showed up at my door. Nothing about it felt rushed or cheap. They handled every detail the right way. The packaging itself had a level of thought and beauty that you don’t normally see. It matched the values you expect from a biodynamic farm. And then I noticed the engraved wooden spoon they included, and that sealed the deal for me. That kind of touch says a lot about how they see their customers and the kind of relationships they want to build. In my career I manage construction projects for a school district in the Bay Area, but I spent years as a professional chef working my way through high school and college. Because of that, I tend to look closely at quality, consistency, and the discipline behind a product. What I saw here is the same level of care you expect from serious culinary professionals. Everything from the instructions to the way they communicate feels personal, old school, and built on trust. From what I can see, their service and their product are already at the highest level. I’m looking forward to eventually trying the first milking when it’s available in the spring. For now, even the second and third milking were handled with so much responsibility that I already know I’ll be a long-term customer.
