We will definitely be returning. On the day we called, there were not any available appointments, but Chris was incredibly kind to offer to call us if there were any cancellations. Luckily, someone cancelled! He then called again because there was a cancellation for an even earlier appointment, so we didn't have to wait all afternoon for my boyfriend's haircut. As we waited, he offered us something to drink. When I initially declined, he was sweet enough to make sure to clarify that they were complimentary in case the added fee was what was deterring my acceptance. We have been *around* trying to find someone who can properly cut my boyfriend's hair. In the 6 years since we moved to San Antonio, we have only found 2 competent hair stylists, and both eventually left their place of business with no way to track them. The Boardroom is more than he usually pays for a haircut, but he gets SO self conscious when he gets a bad haircut that I told him it was worth it if we didn't have to jump through a ton of hoops at the lower budget salons trying to find our next Dez and Daniel (his former stylists). And we found her! Lizzie cut his hair JUST as he wanted. He's also not much of a talker, and either she isn't, also, or she picked up on that, so she cut his hair in mostly silence and conversed with the other stylists instead, which he appreciated. In combination with how kind and helpful Chris was, we have found our new place, and they are only about 6 minutes from where we live. OH, a helpful note: the charge will come up on your card as simply "TEXAS". I accidentally reported it as fraud to my bank because they couldn't supply a phone number or address for the business, and I didn't remember going to any place named Texas. It wasn't until my boyfriend got home and I told him the amount of the charge that he wondered if it was the Boardroom. I checked through the rest of our charges, and sure enough, there was NOT a transaction for them in our history, so I realized it must be them. :/ I called our bank immediately to let them know that was my mistake. Next time we are going to do one of the more expensive packages so my boyfriend can see if those services are something he'd like to continue in the future.
