I have been coming to the Boardroom Salon in San Antonio for 1.5 years now. Two things: 1) you pay for what you get and 2) what you get is absolutely fantastic. I started with Nicole M. She is now at the Dallas Salon. She was awesome. From the cut to all of the additional amenities included with the Benchmark option of service. The hair wash, the facial massage, paraffin wax hand treatment, arm massage, scalp massage is a great way to rejuvenate, replenish, re-charge, and simply care for yourself. I was used to getting just a haircut about every 3-4 weeks. After starting at the Boardroom, I went less frequently but when I went, I got the whole deal and all of the services included in the Benchmark. In the end, for the money you pay, which is about $60 for each Benchmark, you get a lot more back from the services provided. Nicole moved on to Dallas and then I started with Melissa. Another fantastic stylist and just a really cool person to talk with and spend time with. She listens to what you want and then gives you a lot of feedback, and includes a lot of check-ins with you, as she cuts and styles. To me, she wants to make sure that she not only styles your hair the way you want it but that she does a good job. Melissa is clearly an experienced and capable stylist. Melissa never stops trying to improve her skills as well. After learning some improved massage techniques from another client, she tried them on me and my scalp, face, and arms feel a lot better. Besides the great service from the stylists, the firm sells memberships that enable for you to take full advantage of all of the services at a great price. Paying for a 3 month membership, and coming every other week, enabled for me to get back the money I paid within the first 4 visits. The remaining 4-5 visits were essentially free! I highly recommend that if you have not tried the Boardroom Salon, that you try it a least once. If you are in San Antonio, book online, or call the Salon, and ask for Melissa.
