I had a great visit with Dr Makovicka today. He listened to me gave a cortizone shot. He has me going to PT 2 x a week and wants a follow up the end of May. I was pleased at how fast I got in at MD West One.

My wait time was very minimal with the staff always helpful and pleasant. Dr. Makovicka, as usual, answers my questions and has such a caring presence. I would recommend him to anyone with knee problems. I cannot say enough good things about my doctor and MD West One.

Nothing but good thoughts about my first visit with Dr. Makovicka and the staff at MS West One. Although x-rays do not show a lot of damage, Dr. Makivicka listened and is set in finding the cause of the pain I feel. It is nice to not be blown off

Dr. Makovicka is a great physician! He went over my X-rays and knee pain in great detail! Explained what I would need to help with relief. He got me in and out of the office with a PT script and confidence that things will look up from here with pain! Will definitely recommend him and MD WestOne!

Fell at work on ice last Friday, saw Dr Makovicka on Monday, he has already sent me for an MRI with a follow up today where he gave me an injection in the knee and ordered PT. Felt like he listened to my desire for conservative treatment that would allow me to get back to work as soon as possible. If all goes well I can get back to work Wednesday. I felt comfortable with him and he didn't hesitate to answer questions.

I have always had a good experience when I visit this location. Dr. Makovicka is the first Orthopedic doctor I have seen since Dr. Michael Morrison that I am completely comfortable with. He takes the time to answer all my questions and I believe really cares.

My husband hurt his knee last night, I called this morning at 8:30 and we were able to get a 9:30 appointment! It was such a relief that we didn’t have to go to the emergency room. Parking is easy, the building/office is beautiful, checking in was very easy and all the ladies/ nurses are very friendly, got right in for an x-ray prior to seeing the doctor and the wait for the doctor in the exam room was less than a minute. Dr. Makovicka is amazing! He took time to really explain everything on the x-ray and the physical exam of my husband’s knee. He shared personal experiences with his own knee and my husband and I loved his personality! We will both highly recommend him!
