The 12V battery in my new Lyriq died and the service dept set me up with a loaner and gave me the number for GM Roadside Assistance. They did a nice job at getting my car back in action but the engineers at Cadillac have to do something that permits the override of the car's total deadness when the 12V battery dies unexpectedly. Not being able to put the car in neutral for towing is a HUGE issue. Getting locked out and not being able to get back into the car is potentially deadly if it were to occur in the night in freezing cold temps. To say you are totally in a dangerous position when an electric vehicle's 12V battery dies is an understatement.
