Learning at the Scuola Leonardo da Vince is more than just taking language lessons There is no better way of learning a language than being surrounded by the culture, cuisine, and curiosities. Practice what you have learned right at the next supermarket, museum, or with your new Italian friends is the best training you can get. Also, it was very inspiring to feel the teachers' passion about their mother tongue. The school is located just a stone-throw from most of Florence's attractions and landmarks - actually, I was looking at Brunelleschi's cupola from the classroom - need I say more?! After Rome and Milan, this was the third time that I took Italian lessons at the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci. Each time, I've made a big leap forward - very encouraging. Actually, I'm looking very much forward to the next time!

Fantastic experience! I was in this school during the last week and I really enjoyed it. It was much better than I expected and I was really impressed with the teaching level and teachers’ approach to the students. My teachers were very experienced and had great teaching methods. Lessons were very interesting, diverse and joyful. Moreover, there are very interesting trips organised for the students. Italian culture is presented in a very unique way. I recommend it to everyone, all ages and nationalities and language skills.

La migliore scuola per lo studio dell'italiano One of the good things to come out of this pandemic are the online Italian classes that were started on the Zoom platform after the shutdown of live classes in March. I had visited Scuola Leonardo da Vinci several years ago to get some information on taking an intensive program in Florence. A return to work delayed my plans. I was so happy the school had kept my contact information and sent me an email in March announcing the new programs. Early every morning, Monday - Friday, I participated in the intensive program for 12 weeks, then I transitioned to the Part-Time program, twice a week. The teachers, custom materials developed by Scuola LDV and class format are the best I have ever experienced in my attempts over the years to improve my Italian language skills. First of all, there is nothing that can substitute for a native Italian speaker who has professional level training to teach Italian to a foreign student, and this is an important feature of Scuola LDV. My teachers, Francesca, Simona and Antonella are very patient, friendly, skilled at making learning a very enjoyable experience. They use a teaching format that facilitates speaking Italian, the hardest part for many of us. Consequently, my speaking skills have improved. It is a great pleasure to meet students from all over the world and I feel that I have made many new friends. The Zoom platform worked amazingly well and even allowed small group breakout sessions. You would not know that online teaching was a new format for these teachers given how well they used the technology. Becoming fluent in Italian is a long-term endeavor and I am so pleased with the improved Italian proficiency as well as insights into Italian culture that I have gained through my participation in these classes. While attending live classes and experiencing all the wonderful aspects of living in Florence would be ideal, until it is possible to travel, I will continue my classes online with Scuola LDV.

Solamente da consigliare! Antonella é un‘ insegnante perfetta! Le sue lezioni erano molto divertente, ma sopratutto in modo tanto sistematico, che anche le cose difficile per una straniera come me, erano facile da capire!! Vedo già l‘ ora di continuare il corso dopo le mie vacanze!

Divertiti e apprendi allo stesso momento! Durante il lockdown ho avuto la fortuna di iscrivermi ad un corso di italiano online con la Scuola Leonardo da Vinci a Firenze. Ho seguito lezioni per 20 ore settimanali per un periodo di 13 settimane. I numeri degli studenti durante il corso variava tra 6 e 10. Le localizzazioni degli studenti includevano Siberia, Brasile ed Estonia! Sono lieto di poter dire che il mio italiano è migliorato immensamente e alla fine del corso avevo raggiunto il livello C1. Posso consigliare vivamente la Scuola Leonardo da Vinci per lezioni online, indipendentemente da dove ti trovi nel mondo

Risultati! Ho fatto cinque settimane intensive per Zoom e continuerò dopo l’estate. La mia esperienza con la mia insegnante (Bernadetta) e anche con la scuola è stata eccellente. Veri professionisti da ogni punto di vista. Ve la consiglio!
