Nurse Jenn from our IV service came to our home to help get my 8-year-old son hydrated and hopefully feeling better. She was incredibly patient and never rushed the process, even though it was difficult to find a vein due to his dehydration. What impressed me most was that she didn’t poke him until she was confident she had found a good vein. She used a heating pad to help reveal the vein and was successful on the very first try, which made the experience so much easier for him. The IV helped so much that he was finally able to swallow again. The experience went so well that he’s already asked for Nurse Jenn to come back tomorrow! We’re so grateful for her kindness, patience, and expertise.
