I went vegetarian back in 2007 when my eyes were open to commercial farming and the horrors of the animals living situation. Couple years ago I started learning about grass fed and finished farming. Yesterday I was able to take a tour of Seven Sons Farm and had a fabulous morning seeing with my own eyes how their animals live and learning about their regenerative practices. I’ve been buying online from Seven Sons for about a year after discovering their farm was in Indiana my childhood home state. The meat is delivered straight to my St Louis, Missouri doorstep quickly, frozen, and packaged perfectly. What a blessing to see where my meat is raised and meet some of the sons in person. I live with a husband who absolutely cringed if I ever brought up the idea of eating “grass-fed meats.” His thought was that grass-fed meant it was flavorless and tough. So when I ordered from Seven Sons, it took a lot of “arm twisting” and we finally reconciled it with him saying, “well if I don’t like it, you are eating it.” Now, after trying the beef, the pork and the chicken, I can honestly say that every single time we have eaten Seven Sons meat, my husband has raved about how good it was. Now, he’s a fan as much as I am!

I've been a customer for quite some time and it's the best quality food. They send out newsletters and I enjoy reading them which is surprising because for as many emails I get I actually look forward to reading about the farm, the animals, and the family. I hope to visit one day and see everything in action.
