When I started my driveway and sidewalk project I contacted 12 different paving companies. Kaplan was the only company that sent a sales representative to meet with me. Kaplan was not the lowest bid but since they actually sent someone out to look at the job, they got the job. Jill DeLira (the sales representative) came out and listened to what I wanted and offered a couple of other ideas. Due to complications with the village, the project was delayed a couple of months. Jill stayed in contact to check on the status of the project. When I finally got the village's approval, Jill was notified and project got started. Just prior to finishing the project Jill and the paving, and brick paver foreman met with me to go over everything to make sure we were on the same page. A couple of days after the job was finished, Jill called to make we were happy with the work that was performed and answer any questions we had. This kind of follow up is a big plus for me. The bricklayers and paving crew were very efficient and polite. They kept cleaning the sidewalk, apron and the street of all loose materials. They also answered all of my questions. This is a company that show pride in its high quality work which is hard to find these days. I highly recommend Kaplan Paving

Kaplan removed my old driveway and paved a new one. Before I chose Kaplan I contacted several well known paving companies, one waited a year before they got around to giving me a quote, another gave me a quote but then was difficult to get a hold of. I connected with Robert Kearns from Kaplan, Robert was great to deal with. He came to my house on time, measured my driveway, discussed various options and his quote was very reasonable. I discussed options with my wife and had several conversations with Robert, I never had the sense that I was annoying Robert. Robert responded quickly to all my calls and answered all my questions very professionally. The crew came one day and tore out the old driveway and laid the stone base for the new one. The paving crew came the next day and did a great job. The head guy each day reviewed the job with me, answered all my questions and kept me informed about the process. I had Kaplan get the village permit for me, the office staff handles this and kept me informed the whole time.
