We recently converted our fire from gas burning back to wood. The fire place is two sided and has a history of not drawing well, so beforehand we called Above & Beyond. They gave us some great advice on the key considerations around converting the fireplace, and promptly came out to take a look at our setup. We’re now happily burning wood. Going forward we’ll be using Above & Beyond for all things chimney.

Todd and his assistant did a nice job completing the work. They installed 3 chimney caps as well as pointing up a little loose masonry as needed. Estimates from other companies where significantly higher. Overall I would highly recommend using Above and Beyond for all your chimney needs.

Todd does incredible work and is totally honest and up-front about what needs or doesn't need to be done. He performs any repairs we may have on account of high wind where we're situated and does our annual cleaning. We also love supporting a local business on the South Shore.

Above and Beyond repaired and relined 5 fireplaces in two different homes for us in the last 15 years. He was responsive and fair even before purchasing a home during the inspections. I can’t express how safe we felt after having our fireplaces repaired by Todd. One home was a historic home with Rumford fireplaces and the setting of the flue and lining could only take a knowledgeable chimney expert in order to maintain its historic value as well as unique function. Another company we consulted was not only much higher in price but the integrity of the historic function was not a consideration. I can not recommend Todd and his company enough — he is an asset and truly the only one who should be caring for all the chimneys in our area.

Did a great job relining and adding new flue to our chimney. Also added a liner to the boiler flue. Clean, tidy and a good job at a fair price. We actually got a quote based of an inspection and couldn’t afford the work right then. Went back 12 months later and they honored the quote. Will be our go to for sweeping and maintaining from now on.
