I don't know where we would be without SamIvy and our trainer Hollie! We were running out of options with our pittie mix. SamIvy isn't just any training service, it's a coaching service. Everything was able to be done in our own home and over Zoom, which made it easy to work around with our busy schedules. Hollie listened to our concerns and made sure we were comfortable with the training that we were working on for the session. Not only have my husband and I seen a huge improvement in how Dio copes with his triggers, but so have my parents. We were given the proper tools and shown how to use them correctly to work alongside Dio and help him be the best version of himself.

The Sam Ivy K9 Consultants "Proper Pack Behavior" training program saved my family. My husband and I were at the point of complete and utter desperation with our 9 month old German Shepherd/Husky puppy. She knew obedience commands, that wasn't the issue. Her behavior was beyond out of control, we knew we needed more and we were completely lost on how and/or where to go. We didn't think we had any other option than to re-home her or send her away to a "Behavior Boot Camp". To be completely honest, I was absolutely devastated with the thought of losing her.
Then I found Sam Ivy K9 Consultants. I set up a consultation and within 1 week we began working with a trainer. The consultation was the first time in months I felt any sort of hope. The training process just seemed to make sense, I considered the thought that this program may just be too-good-to-be-true. My gut told me this was exactly what we needed. Words truly cannot describe how relieved we are now that we made the conscious choice to jump right in with both feet and trust that gut instinct!
We are so fortunate that we were matched up with an amazing trainer, Nate! His kindness, flexibility, knowledge, and compassion made him the perfect trainer for us! We felt heard and respected since the very first session! Each session continued to reinforce the passion that Nate, and Sam Ivy team as a whole, have for human & doggo household harmony. This program not only taught us how to communicate with our dog in a way she could understand, but how to nurture the foundation of a trusting relationship with her built on respect and love.
Our girl just turned 1 and we graduated in the same week! We are exceedingly grateful for the relationship, individually and together, that we have with our girl. We couldn't recommend Sam Ivy K9 Consultants enough! We went from living in total chaos thinking "we can't give her what she needs", "there is something wrong with her", "there is something wrong with us", "we have failed" to honestly enjoying our pup, and her enjoying being part of our family too. We are wholeheartedly appreciative of how favorably different our lives are now. The program takes work and dedication, but every second is more than worth it!
There are no ifs ands or buts about it, Sam Ivy K9 Consultants and our wonderful trainer Nate saved our family. The absolute nightmare we were all living has been shifted to a fulfilling reality beyond our wildest dreams.

The training we received from Sam Ivy K9 was invaluable. We were at the point of contemplating having to put down one of our dogs because of aggression issues. My wife and I have had dogs our entire lives, but never ran into the aggressive issues we were facing with our dog Jesse, which was also starting to cause our other dog Harley to become aggressive. We would time our dog walks when we knew no one would be around, because we were embarrassed at their behavior while on leash. My wife used to say she hated our dogs - we were not in a good place. Then through the advice of our veterinarian, we started dog training for both dogs with Sam Ivy K9. The results were immediate! The knowledge and techniques we learned from Nate at Sam Ivy K9 have enabled us to become better dog owners, and as a result, our dogs have become great pets and companions. They are constantly amazing us with their capacity to learn.
We are no longer embarrassed walking our dogs. And now my wife says how much she loves our dogs. It's been a complete transformation.

I was at my wits end with Dorothy, she barked all the time & just didn't listen to simple commands. After reading the reviews & my consultation I signed up! And I'm so glad I did. Gina was amazing! She helped me understand it wasn't all about Dorothy, but me too, well mostly me! I loved the concept of Gina training me to train Dorothy, makes so much more sense than having someone come to my home & train her. Because I needed the training and they provided that. The tools and techniques I learned are going to be used for a lifetime! I can finally communicate with Dorothy in a way she understands, we both do. And the fact the I can still reach out to Gina for guidance, support, or a praise report is so wonderful! I am so happy and so is Dorothy, she loved the training sessions (she was sort of a teacher's pet LOL) always doing well for Gina! I would highly recommend SamIvy to anyone who wants better communication with their pets leading to a better relationship too!
